Deepest sympathy to the many victims and grieving families longing for justice and answers.

I am going to have to do some reading and catch up on this one. I had no idea. Maybe its because its across the border or maybe I have just been under a rock over here but this is monstrous!

Now that I am aware I cannot imagine ever forgetting. So many women gone, poof. So many families, heartbroken. These familes are so deserving of some answers, some closure.

In Smithers, local artists have also put together an art show to commemorate the missing women. Alongside a painted facemask of one of the young women, someone had scribbled:

I dreamt I held you in my arms, safe and warm
I woke to tears falling silently.
My heart is heavy and burdened
smothered with grief so hard to bear.
Please return to me and let me gently touch your cheek
if only in my dreams.

Ahh so beautiful. So very sad. Watching 48 Hrs tonight-segment of Highway of Tears.

The Highway of Tears is such a sad case to me. All these girls and women relying on the kindness of strangers. Whenever I read about it I get an eerie feeling. RIP to all the girls and women who lost their lives.

This case has been on my mind foe the last 15 years and until I die probley. I'll never forget this case or the justice the victims families deserve.....
