Video at link Distraught Bronx mother pleads for return of missing son

The family of a man who has been missing since last week held a news conference with local officials Tuesday to ask the public for help.

Ibrahima Diallo, 28, was in Atlanta and planned to return to the Bronx Friday night, driving a 2016 or 2017 Black Cadillac Escalade.

Diallo has been missing for four days after what should've been a 14 hour drive.

His mother, Hawa Diallo, broke down several times during the news conference and asked for any sign or tip that could bring her son home.

Family and friends say they're hoping for a safe return.

This is so sad. Since the link above had him at a gas station a few hours south of New York after midnight, I'm guessing he was making the 14-hour drive nonstop. Since he had to borrow a car, and had recently relocated he was probably on a tight budget so a motel was not an option. But if he got a late start that meant driving until 3 or 4 in the morning. I'm worried he fell asleep and went off the road somewhere. Hopefully they can ping his phone to get a better idea of where he last was.
