Missing Person Locate; Hunter Hogan from Anchorage Police Department : Nixle

Out-of-state family recently contacted APD regarding 25-year-old Hunter K. Hogan whom they have not heard from since October 1, 2018. Hogan is homeless; police have checked the shelters, jail, and hospitals and have not been able to locate her. The family stated it is unusual for this much time to pass without hearing from Hogan. The last cell phone number they had for Hogan has since been disconnected.

Hogan is 5’01” tall, 100 pounds with red hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is asked to call Police Dispatch at 3-1-1 (option #1).

Hogan’s sister, Nicole Marie Sturgeon, said Wednesday that Hogan is an Athabaskan born and raised in Alaska. She had been waiting for a substance-abuse treatment bed at Anchorage’s Ernie Turner Center, and possibly trying to enter the Rainforest Recovery program in Juneau.

Hogan hasn’t held a job in five years, according to Sturgeon, and also hasn’t had a stable address. She was last seen in late September by a family friend, with possible sightings in recent weeks in Eagle River walking along Farm Avenue and the Glenn Highway.

“Because of her long history of couch surfing, I do not know of any current associates or people she hangs out with,” Sturgeon wrote.
