The small horizontal 4 meter area to connect over to the well hole that the boy is in just has rock over the workers heads and yeah they did ask for wood to shore up the roof but as they have been rushing we dont know how good the shoring up of the roof was done with wooden supports.

But where I am really concerned for the workers is if the boy is trapped in the clogged material then as they try to remove the clog to pull the boy free then I am worried the whole clogged material will come down all at once on top of the workers. I am sure they have hard hats on and hopefully they are using some sort of metal cage over their heads but if that whole clog falls down on them it could be a lot of rocks and debri falling down on them.

They will first look at very bottom to see if he fell all the way to the bottom and if he is down on bottom then they wont have to even touch the clogged area.

It all depends on if they can get a visual on the boy. Scary times indeed for the workers.

Maybe it’s the dialect but I could swear one or two of the guys speak Portuguese. Maybe this is recorded in the press room?

I also heard some English in there at one point, but it was only about camera equipment or something.

Nope, that's how Spain's Spanish sounds.
Eta: it does sound like a conference room or something.

Yes, i was about to say that the only voice i could clearly heard was in portuguese there for a while. Now i can hear another guy talking in spanish, something about the helicopter.
Now they say that the miners just come up and that they missed it, didnt catch it on photo.

I know they do have different dialects in Spain (like Catalan) but I thought I heard Portuguese there (more nasal, flowing sounds). Maybe I‘m wrong.
