He was last seen May 30, days after he was released from county jail after completing a 30-day sentence

He is described as 5-foot-10, weighing 170 pounds and having black/brown hair and a grayish beard. He was last seen May 30 getting out of a white Cadillac Escalade near Walton. He left a resident’s home to meet someone at a condemned house in Walton and has not been seen or heard from since.

I knew him in high school and know family and this is so hard on them all. I hope they make headway with the court system with trying to access info that could help. If anyone has suggestions on how to accomplish that, I'd be glad to pass the info along to them. They are hitting road blocks with every agency it seems. I hope and pray they get answers soon. Every day is hard I'm sure, but Today is his birthday, please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

“We have had a few leads, but they did not pan out,” said Robert Guest, an investigator with the Harvey County Sheriff’s Department. “When a lead comes in, we chase it down. ... It is very (baffling).”

Guest said law enforcement agencies are looking for Aycock, and they are monitoring hospital admissions and mental health facility admissions as the search.

Search for Peabody man continues

He has a family who is missing him dearly. His name is Michael Aycock, and he’s been gone since around May 30. “He was a Walton resident,” Harvey County Sheriff Chad Gay said on Monday afternoon. “He’s got family around here. People know him, but he did just vanish.”

Missing persons: Only one open case in Newton, Harvey County

From the first link:

Aycock has a barbed wire tattoo that says "hotshot" on his shoulder and a skull-like tattoo on one of his forearms.

He does not have much control of his left arm because of an injury in a car accident. He also is without his medication.

"Michael's family is very concerned about his welfare and just want him home," the poster reads.

Thanks for all the bumps on these old KS cases, PM!

A man went missing in Harvey County in mid-2017 and has not been seen since.

Michael Aycock was out visiting a friend on May 30, 2017, in Walton, Kan. According to the National Institute of Justice, Michael was heading to a condemned house in Harvey County.

I really feel for his family who have endured this disappearance of a loved one.

It is wonderful that news articles are posted about missing persons from years ago because they could jog someone's memory and lead to answers.

There is always hope.
