Police conducting Level 3 search for missing 59-year-old woman

"Alice Wolski disappeared from the Martin Grove Road and Cowley Avenue area of Etobicoke at around 8 a.m. on Friday and hasn’t been seen or heard from since.

On Saturday morning, police confirmed that they have set up a command post in the area and are now conducting a Level 3 search for Wolski, which is the highest level of response that exists.

They say that they are concerned for Wolski’s safety.

She is described as about five-foot-seven with a slim build, green eyes and long dark brown hair that goes past her shoulders. She was last seen wearing black leather boots, though no further description of the clothing she was wearing has been provided at this time."

"Police say they are especially concerned for her safety given the city remains under an extreme cold weather alert and it's unknown if Wolski is dressed for the freezing temperatures. The mercury is expected to fall to –10 C Saturday night, feeling more like –16 during the coldest part of the night.

A command post has been set up in The East Mall and Rathburn Road area, with specialized tools and extra officers deployed to help with the search.

Police say they are concerned for Wolski's safety and ask that anyone with information contact police at 416-808-2200 or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers at 416-222-8477."

May I ask, what is a Level 3 Search?
http://www.torontopolice.on.ca/procedures/get.php?missing_persons.pdf
rbbm.
"Search Levels
The search for missing persons is divided into three levels of operation. Depending upon the
circumstances, the search can begin
at any one of the three levels, but does not preclude the steps in the
previous levels, if appropriate.
Level 1
This level will be implemented when a person is
reported missing and there are no extenuating
circumstances. At this level, there are minimal concerns
regarding the issue of foul
play or the infirmity or
limitations of the missing person.
Level 2
This level will be implemented when a missing person is

under 16 years and judged likely to be incapable of caring for themselves

mentally challenged

over 70 years of age or infirm, or

there is evidence of foul play
Level 3
This level will be implemented when the preceding two leve
ls are ineffective or if the situation, due to the
extenuating circumstances, necessitates that
this level be initiated immediately."

Hmm I wonder if she left from some place, was she upset? Does she have a mental disability(Alzheimers?)or such? It just looks rare that they don't have any other information.

All MOO

Are you certain that she has been located ? I went through all of the Jan, Feb & Mar News Releases from the Toronto Police and I cannot find any mention of her. And I cannot find release #43363. It appears to have been taken down although hundreds of other releases are still available through the Wayback Machine.

Has anyone found any other confirmation ?
