Found Deceased FL - Deborah Saucier, 62, Seminole Hard Rock Casino, Tampa, 8 Jan 2019

The current on the river is treacherous down there, especially if there are prevailing winds. Just don't have a good feeling about a relatively young woman suffering memory loss, who is cognizant of her deterioration and the burden of responsibility placed on her daughter. Adding to that a possible penchant for gambling... Just not good...
Well said, gambling might have been a temporary escape. These situations are all too common on this board. I was thinking on visiting my boss this week, and checking the area. But read that the family and numerous people have already scouted the area to no availe. I feel like something is missing. During the day, it is so populated down there that someone would have noticed someone in the water. The only other thing my former boss said when I followed up was that if she did indeed injury herself, There are numerous yacts and parked boats, (large) that are unattended for months on end and if she went into one that might have been unlocked, she could be there.

But maybe she went into the river at night where no one would have seen her. Certainly the river would have carried her downstream. But video shows her turning from the river. Geez.

I like the idea she could be on someone's yacht or boat that has every comfort she would ever need.

I would like that idea as well but it looks like she went the other way. One thing I did note on the video is she was walking with purpose as if she knew where she was going, there was no hesitation in her movements.

Has Flyers been posted in the area?
Has anyone questioned the Homeless people?
She could be sleeping in that area in a Homeless Camp.
There’s a large apartment complex right in that area (not a very safe neighborhood) A reward for information might help.

I am looking at this a little differently...

Was it known if she won anything at the casino?

I would think her daughter would have checked for large winnings with the Casino? There’s been no meation of anything at all. :(

I can only think of 4 reasons to park at the Park and walk.

1. Someone might have been hiding in her car from the Casino but she didn’t exit the car in a panic state.

2. If she lost a large amount of money and wanted to jump in the river

3. In a confused state. Parked her car at the Park thinking she was home?

4. Car Trouble but (she left her phone and purse in the truck so that’s out.)

Tampa Police Department

Detectives are following all tips provided trying to locate 62 year old Deborah Saucier. This video shows her leaving the Hard Rock Casino, followed by a clip when she left her car at Julian B Lane Park.

While watching this video again I noticed that the car that’s parked in the park in the video (that shows her walking down the sidewalk in the park) is a small Silver Car but she was driving a Black SUV. Who owns the Silver Car?
It looks very scary walking in a deserted park all alone except for one little Silver Car.

It makes me wonder if they actually have more video, and were able to check out the owner/occupants? It does look creepy to be sitting there, as Deborah walks on by...

I am thinking #4 due to dementia perhaps coupled with a drink at the casino (I know with my Dad alcohol really increases the dementia symptoms.) We had a home invasion two doors down from us last week in the heart of Chicago. An older man (not a senior) with mild dementia had a couple too many drinks at the local pub and had to walk home after his friend took his car keys away saying he was under the influence and shouldn't drive. He walked down the alley to the first house and kicked in the door, telling police when they arrived he really thought it was his house and his wife locked him out. He was charged with criminal trespass and public intoxication. (I am really thankful he didn't kick in my door, I have a Glock 21 with a laser sight).

A Go Fund Me to use for Reward For Imformation Money might help this case.

Body found in Hillsborough River identified as woman missing since January
Tampa police say the body of a woman missing since January was found under a dock along the Hillsborough River Friday.
The Medical Examiner's Office and TPD said they were able to identify the body as Saucier's and her family has been notified.

TPD said there are no signs of foul play, however, investigators say "several questions remain unanswered, including how Ms. Saucier ended up in the Hillsborough River."
