Found Deceased UK - Nicola Murray, 43, Cushendall, Co. Antrim, 16 March 2019

Missing Nicola Murray ‘just isn’t well enough to be safe’, says partner - BelfastTelegraph.co.uk

'The distraught partner of a missing Co Antrim woman has made a desperate plea for information as he revealed she had recently faced a series of traumatic events that had turned her life upside down.

Mr Stewart believes she is unlikely to have approached anyone due to her being withdrawn in the days before she vanished.

"She is very reserved - she just isn't well enough to be safe and if anyone knows anything we need to know because she needs proper support," he added.

Ms Murray struggled to come to terms with the loss of her mum who died suddenly around 18 months ago.'

'Her partner said she suffered another "massive blow" when the council worker was made redundant from her job shortly after returning from a period of sick leave.'

"She just wasn't coping with life, everything piled up, but she was trying to get through it," Mr Steward added.

"It was one massive blow after another."

Oh poor Nicola, it's not looking good :(

THE partner of a Co Antrim woman who has been missing since the weekend has appealed for people to check outbuildings and sheds as the search continues.

On Sunday, rescue teams from Coleraine, Ballycastle and Larne were dispatched to join in the search, along with the Red Bay lifeboat crew.

Teams of volunteers from the local community have also come forward to join land and coast searches.

"People are just covering different areas," he said.

There has been an increase in missing folk over here lately :(

Really hope Nicola is found safe and reunited with her loved ones.

The Irish media aren't the best with getting more information unfortunately.

Another lady from Kildare who went missing last week, only had one news outlet cover the story with minimal info and the rest of the papers performing exact copy paste jobs.

We believe a body found today is her, just waiting on official update :(

Tina Satchwell is 2 years missing today, under very mysterious circumstances. There's barely been a mention :(

Mr Stewart described Ms Murray as a “good, bubbly girl” who “enjoyed life and she enjoyed sport”.

“She was caring and warm. She was just happy and good-natured.”

BBMFF:

Thanks for sharing that article!

It always bothers me when people use the past tense to describe individuals who have not been found deceased yet.

Whenever possible, it's important to give a person the presumption of life, IMO.
It's the least they deserve.

I understand that NM has reportedly been going through a very stressful time and difficult circumstances, but if she is alive and reads about herself being described in the past tense, it won't exactly promote positive feelings of self-worth.

Just wondering if there has been an update on this? Libby Squire was found on Wednesday...this wasn't the body you were talking about, right? So sad on all fronts...

**Friday 22nd March 2019**

Searches for Nikki are ongoing. There is no public meet up point due to the weather.

But please, if you are out and about today walking your dog, popping into the shop etc, keep an eye out for Nikki. Ask around the village, some people might not be aware that Nikki is missing and may know something that could help.

Weather conditions aren't the best today. If you are out and about the coast searching, please be vigilant.

If anyone has CCTV or Dashcam footage on the 16th March 2019, but are unsure how to access it, please do get in touch, we can help.

Thank you again for your continued support!

From the link that @HayLouise provided, Body recovered in search for missing Co Antrim woman Nicola Murray :

A body has been recovered from the water north of Campbeltown in Scotland this afternoon in the search for a missing woman.

I'm not familiar with the area, but this appears to be about 40 miles (64km) across the sea. Although I was hoping for her to be found alive, I am so glad they were able to find her, so that those that loved her can bring her home. RIP Nicola.
