*Preliminary Hearing (@ ET) – MI – Danielle Marzejka (18) & Seren Bryan (19) (missing Aug. 24, 2018, Clinton Township; found Aug. 26, 2018 in shed) – *Robert Leo Marzejka (24) (bro) charged (8/29/18) & arraigned (9/10/18) with 2 counts of 1st degree murder. No bond.
8/30/18 Update: The Macomb County Prosecutor's Office has issued a first-degree murder warrant against a 24-year-old Clinton Township man in connection with the killing of his sister & her boyfriend. A bench warrant has been issued for Robert Leo Marzejka of Clinton Township. 8/31/18: Robert arrested in Ohio on 8/29/18; in Hamilton County jail awaiting extradition to Michigan. Charged with 2 counts of 1st degree murder. Waives extradition in Ohio hearing; arrangements being made to bring him to Michigan & expected to be there next week.
9/10/18 Update: Arraignment hearing: Officially charged with 2 counts of 1st degree murder. Bond denied. Probable cause hearing on 9/17. Will be sent for a mental health evaluation.
12/19/18 Update: Had competency hearing (report back): found competent to stand trial. Next Preliminary hearing on 2/4/19.

Man charged after sister, her boyfriend found dead in Clinton Township shed will stand trial

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. - A 24-year-old man accused of killing his sister and her boyfriend and leaving their bodies in a Clinton Township shed was bound over for trial Wednesday morning.

A preliminary hearing was held Wednesday, where multiple witnesses testified, including family members and an investigator. The court found enough probable cause to bound Marzejka over for trial.

Robert Marzejka will now head to trial on all charges. He's due back in court March 25. He faces life in prison.

His attorney says his defense will be insanity.
