The prosecution's case
In August 2017, Addimando sent a text to someone that read: "I haven't found out a way to kill him without being caught, so I'm still here," said Krauss, reading it aloud for the jury.
Meanwhile, judging by other texts sent before his death, it was Addimando who "wore the pants" in the relationship, Krauss added. She called him stupid, said he had a mental disorder and referred to him as a "man child."
In his responses, Grover does not lose his temper, Krauss said. He said, "'maybe you'll be happier if I go, if I make you so unhappy.'"
The defense's case
Ingrassia laid out a history of violent sexual acts and other physical abuse that span years in their relationship.
Among the acts of "severe and extreme sexual violence" — when Addimando was pregnant with their second child, Grover burned her on various parts of her body with a heated metal kitchen utensil, InGrassia said.
"You will see photographic evidence of the injuries she sustained at (Grover's) hands," he added.

• The 12 jurors are eight women and four men; the six alternates are two women and four men. That's really all I know since I couldn’t make it for jury selection.
• Prosecutor Chana Krauss described Addimando talking to police after shooting Christopher Grover, says at one point that Addimando sounded like she was “repeating a recipe or shopping list” and imitates her by leaning casually.
• Krauss tells the jury that they may feel sympathetic toward Addimando at times, but they can’t let that get in the way of judging facts.

So far today, there has been testimony from Marisa Hart, who runs Mr. Todd's gymnastics with her husband (where Christopher Grover worked), and Putnam County Sheriff's Office Investigator Matthew Tunney, an expert in mobile device forensics.
Hart is set to take the stand again when trial resumes in a few.

The medical examiner testified today and Nina will write more about it so tomorrow morning (it’s 10.30 pm here in Sweden) I’ll post info on that if no one else has done it before. Hopefully we’ll know more about if he was sleeping when shot or if he was standing up. Good night, see you here again tomorrow.
