The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)

So much tattoo information, but yet they are unable to take a stab at height, weight, age and ethnicity?!? And surely there is a simple DNA screen for gender...

I hope we’ll see more details to help with ID-ing this person...sad way to go.

2 commercial inhalant cans

Does this mean a prescription inhaler, like for treating asthma; or a commercial product that some people inhale as a drug, huffing w/ spray can?

They do not have any images available. That would really help. Obviously.

Is there a glitch at the site? How can you have recognizable tattoos, yet also be mostly skeletal?

From Post #1: ".....mostly skeletal in nature with some adherent soft tissue remaining."

IMO they could make out some of the details on the remains. Kudos to those ME's. Shudder.

I am sure they have photos. I just don't know if we would want to see them. Some would I reckon. :)

Interesting range of tattoos. Some look like ‘stick and poke’ DIY images, while others are obviously professionally done and expensive.
It does still seem strange that these images seem so intact and there is no other biometric info being released. I supposed if someone recognizes the tats that might be a quicker ID, but still a gender would be nice...

ETA: one of the articles above states the remains are that of a man.
