Plead not guilty. $300K cash or $600K bond.

After three weeks of testimony in Dutchess County Court, attorneys began giving closing statements to the jury Monday.

Ingrassia, one of Addimando's defense lawyers, finished giving his just before the afternoon break, telling jurors that the state has failed to disprove that Addimando was acting in self defense.

Putnam County Assistant District Attorney Chana Krauss, whose office is handling the case as special prosecutor, is set to give her statement later today.

When closing statements are finished, the jury will be given instructions from Judge Edward McLoughlin, and they'll be sent to deliberate.

The case has drawn intense community interest. Loved ones and supporters of both Addimando and Grover have packed the courtroom each day to hear testimony.

And the courtroom was full as Ingrassia gave a two-plus hour speech.

Addimando murder trial: Jury to choose between murder, self-defense

Prosecutors and defense attorneys gave their closing statements on Monday, capping off a three-week murder trial that called into question the relationship between Addimando and Grover, her long-time boyfriend and the father of her children.

The jury will receive instructions from Dutchess County Judge Edward McLoughlin on Tuesday, when court resumes.

According to her last tweet, the jury began deliberating at 10:30 am. It’s 1:30 pm here now.

The jury will continue deliberations Wednesday. Following three weeks of testimony and statements, the jury began deliberations on Tuesday, and spent time looking back at several pieces of evidence.

Judge Edward McLoughlin gave the jury instructions Tuesday, informing them of matters of law relating to Addimando's case, including the justification defense she has raised.

Jurors asked to see several exhibits during deliberations. They included crime scene photos, records of web searches conducted the night of the shooting that reference shooting someone in the brain, and pictures of some of Addimando’s injuries, which she says she sustained at Grover’s hands.

The jury asked to again watch a video of Addimando’s interview with Town of Poughkeepsie Detective Darrell Honkala, which happened at the police station within hours of the shooting and had his testimony in court read back to them.

The instructions McLoughlin read to jurors were based on the set of model charges offered as a guideline to New York trial judges, but were tailored to Addimando's case.

Prosecutors are required to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Addimando was not justified. If they have not proven that, the jury must find Addimando not guilty of the three homicide-related counts she is facing.

Well there are no updates regarding yesterday's deliberations - so I'm going to guess the jurors are still deliberating....
