Charles Gipp is still quite active on Facebook. There are some interesting comments on a post from 9th April.

I honestly don't think his daughter is in danger, he is just a father who is desperate for custody of his daughter and the law of that state won't allow it, or something...
I know he probably isn't helping his case by running away with her but part of me does feel a little sorry for him. Of course we don't know all of the details and there could be a good reason why he wasn't granted custody.

BIA and Bismarck Police find missing Standing Rock girl

Police say they found the missing Standing Rock 7-year-old Thursday in Bismarck.

The Bureau of Indian Affairs and the Bismarck Police Department arrested her father, Charles Gipp, on BIA warrants.

BPD says the child wasn’t in the home when they arrested Gipp. Chief of Police Dave Draovitch says they found her in another home in Bismarck.

Authorities say the child will be reunited with her family Thursday evening. BIA representatives are driving her to Standing Rock as of 6 p.m. Thursday.
