WILKES COUNTY, N.C. — Authorities in Wilkes County believe a 20-year-old woman may have been kidnapped from her house and is being held against her will.

Lauren Hall was seen being taken away from a house and dragged across the yard. The man suspected of abducting her is Rosalino Duarte-Cruz. Officers say the two have had an ongoing relationship.
Duarte-Cruz may be driving a 2016 Chevy Camaro LT with a NC license plate # TPD-8339.

Officers say they have warrants charging Duarte-Cruz with Kidnapping and Assault on a Female.

It is so heartbreaking that things became so bad so quickly. The picture in your post was on Lauren's FB in January 2019. Lauren has another "happy couple" photo of them in the beginning of March 2019.

Authorities are searching for a Wilkes County woman, who may have been kidnapped by a man and brought to Winston-Salem.

The incident started at 2:34 a.m. Thursday. Wilkes County sheriff’s deputies went to a home in the 100 block of Graymille Street in North Wilkesboro on a reported domestic disturbance, the Wilkes County Sheriff’s Office said.

A witness told deputies that a man dragged a woman through the yard of her property and into a car, the sheriff’s office said. The man then drove away.

The man, Rosalino Duarte-Cruz, 37, had a relationship with the woman, Lauren Adelle Lynne Hall, 20, the sheriff’s office said.

Duarte-Cruz and Hall are believed to have arrived in Winston-Salem about 11:40 a.m., said Chief Deputy David Carson of the sheriff’s office.

That's so frightening. I am amazed he calmed down and didn't actually go too far , as we see too often here. Thank Goodness. I hope she breaks up with him. Her friends and family need to stay close and make sure she gets away from him.
