Once on scene, deputies found a large bag containing decomposed remains just a few yards off the roadway; the county coroner arrived on scene and confirmed the remains to be human. The sheriff requested the assistance of Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation to process and collect evidence from the scene.

Reader’s office is handling the investigation.

The body will be transported by the Pike County Coroner to Montgomery County for an autopsy. The sheriff and his investigators will attend the autopsy in Montgomery County when it is conducted this week. The gender of the deceased should be confirmed through the autopsy.

An identification has not yet been released.

Anyone know why they closed Tyler's thread???

Looked that up myself. Found the answer in the Websleuths lingo thread. This was the mods answer:

A thread is locked or pulled for review for different reasons. As Camdenres said, sometimes it is when there are violations of TOS and rules, or members start bickering and we need to remove posts escalating the arguments....other times there may be sensitive information posted that does not need to be made public.

Sometimes it is because we have concerns and we have been mod short and just need to pull the thread and make sure all is on tract and factual.

Body identified as Shane Walls...RIP

If the official FB page was made private by accident, and will be back to public in a few days, are we allowed to bring info from there? There have been several changes to the story, however, I don't want to violate any rules.
