You are more than welcome, tlorik. I just want this case solved and justice for Thomas and his family.
By all accounts, Thomas was a great kid. A good human being. Then his life was snuffed out before it even began. Why? Because a certain someone was having a bad day? Or because the said someone’s idea of fun is bullying teenagers with one of his buddies?
In one way or another, this individual was obsessed with Thomas, IMO.
What a senseless loss to so many.
I’m sorry. I just get angry thinking about what probably happened to Thomas that night, and what his mom has been put through for the last two and a half years.
With regard to some of your questions:
1. I don’t believe Lewis has ever shared a theory as to how or why Thomas may have been killed. In fact, I don’t think he has said anything about Thomas’ remains being found. The news was delivered in the form of a “press release from the Department of Public Safety,” which makes sense since the DPS has been in charge of the case since early 2018.
Authorities confirm remains found in Hemphill County are of missing teen Thomas Brown
2. I agree. It makes no sense. Whatever they were talking about, they didn’t want to run the risk of someone hearing them over the scanner, IMO;
3. NL wasn’t expecting Thomas’ parents to question anything, IMO.
4. I would say later, due to the time constraints, IMO.
5. I do believe that those responsible for Thomas’ demise (all adults, IMO) have kept quiet for over two years now, and if so, I find that very disturbing in itself. It’s not normal to be able to carry on like nothing ever happened when you murdered someone, helped someone move a dead body, or see a family in unimaginable pain every day because of something you’ve done.
It has only been in the last couple of weeks that I’ve started to look at the LEO’s as suspects. I had heard and read some things that lead me to consider the possibility before, but I always leaned towards students.
But after the story about Texas Rangers’ investigation of NL and the county attorney’s statement about Pyne’s unprofessionalism came out, I went over my old notes and watched a few videos, and now I think it all started with a couple of pathetic, loser cops, thinking that they were above the law.
