Missing Eliot man's family desperate for clues

Camarato, 32, of Eliot, Maine, was last seen leaving the 75 Pleasant St. pub at 12:46 a.m. Saturday, he was on foot and without a car, said his sister, JF. She said no one knows which direction her brother took after leaving the tavern and surveillance images may provide that missing information.

JF pleaded for “any business or residence in the downtown area” to review their surveillance footage for signs of her brother.

“The most important thing we need to know is which direction he went after the Clipper Tavern,” she said.

Fultz said her brother went out to dinner with his boss and his email includes a receipt for a Lyft ride to dinner at 9 p.m. Friday. He then went to the tavern with a friend who reported he went to the restroom and when he returned, Camarato was gone, his sister said. After the email about the Lyft ride, there are no further emails, she said.

JF said her brother used the social media app Snapchat between 11 p.m. and midnight, she said.

[...]

...She said police informed the family on Monday that surveillance images from Memorial Bridge show her brother did not cross into Maine that way during the time he disappeared.

[...]

“He’s never done this, ever,” JF said about her brother’s disappearance. “He has two little boys he consistently sees every weekend.”

JF said Camarato was always with his cell phone which has gone directly to voicemail since Saturday at 6 a.m., three hours before he was supposed to pick up his sons.

Camarato was last seen wearing a ball cap with an unknown insignia, a dark long-sleeved top and jeans....

Police searching for Maine man last seen in downtown Portsmouth, NH
[...]

"Nobody's heard from him since, there's been no activity on any of his credit cards or social media or PayPal, phone, they pinged his phone and his phone has been off since before 6 a.m. Saturday," Adam's sister JF told Boston 25 News.

[...]

The family spent Monday and Tuesday posting flyers all across town in the hopes someone knows where he is.

[...]

Police are now asking businesses for surveillance video and JF hopes neighbors will also check their security cameras.

"Even if you can't make out the face or anything like that, if you see somebody that walked by your house, please alert the police, let them see the footage, we need anything that can show what direction he might have gone," JF said.

"A search for Adam Camarato, who has been missing since leaving the Clipper Tavern early Saturday morning, moved to the water on Wednesday.

Camarato, 32, of Eliot, Maine, was last seen leaving the 75 Pleasant St. pub at 12:46 a.m. April 27, was on foot and without a car, said his sister, Jamie Fultz. After coordinating a search party in the city’s South End Tuesday, Fultz was back Wednesday on the shore of the Piscataqua River.

A crew of Portsmouth firefighters patrolled the river behind her in the city’s new rigid inflatable fire boat. Joining the river search were crews on boats from New Hampshire Marine Patrol and the U.S. Coast Guard. Also searching the river were volunteers from Black Dog Divers of Portsmouth."

Missing man search in Portsmouth expands to water

Portsmouth is a really nice New England town on the banks of the Piscataqua River. If Adam chose self-harm, the river would be an easy choice. There is the Memorial Bridge and many unsecured docks nearby. Image attached shows the Clipper Tavern and view of the waterfront. The river flow and tidal current make for significant water flow at times. A body would likely move a significant distance and would stay down for days at this time of year. The ocean is a couple of miles away. In the recent cases of Achim Bailey (Springfield MA) and Vatsla Wadkins (Charlotte SC), seemingly very happy and successful people chose a permanent fate.

Since searches are looking at the water, there may have been some signs that Adam was unhappy.

But I am hoping that he is cooling off somewhere with a cold beer in his hand.

Jamie says he went Washington to Wentworth.
Wentworth ends at South Mill Pond.
And they're searching the Piscataqua River. This isn't making sense to me.

12:46 a.m. Last seen leaving the Clipper Tavern at 75 Pleasant St.

1:18 - 1:28 a.m. Per his sister, video footage shows him going down Washington and ending up over by Wentworth

12:46 a.m. to 1:28 a.m. = 42 minutes. Per Google Maps, it is a 7-minute walk from the Clipper Tavern down Washington to Wentworth. Google Maps

Do I have this right?
