Born Rogene Annette McColley and married David Joseph Helm in Joplin, Missouri in 1969 (but both were from Oklahoma). The marriage record (on Ancestry) gives her DoB as about 1952, making her 33 or 34 at the time she went missing. A post from her son on a Reddit thread says she had 3 children (it gives no other information and was posted to say she could not be Albuquerque Doe - who had not had children). Rogene McColley seems to have come from quite a large family (she also appears in Kansas census records from the 50s which show 3 older siblings and confirm her DoB) - which makes the lack of information in this case surprising (given children and siblings).

A Florida man is desperate for answers to what happened to his mother, Rogene Helm, so he drove all the way here to Broken Arrow, where she was last seen.

Rogene was last seen at her Broken Arrow home in 1986. Her son, Jerry, says he was always told his mother left them, but Jerry says deep down he believes someone killed her. He drove here hoping to find out who.

I’m not an expert, but I would say no. It’s very close, but there are differences. The teeth are different. A mole or beauty mark on Rogene #2’s upper right cheek isn’t present on Rogene #1. Shape of the nose of each woman is slightly different.

I hope Rogene Helm’s son is able to find her.
