I heard, do you have any weapons on you, anything that will stick me or poke me? W3 answers, no, no, no. Then W3 asks, What's going on?

To be fair, there wasn't much opportunity to inquire or protest with the KSHP screaming at him from multiple directions. I hope this is not shown in court. It would play into the hands of the defense....poor Ws, everybody had it in for them...

So much commotion going on. Multiple people yelling. W3 was told "turn around again" 3 separate times. I'd have trouble following all of that.

Anyone ever wonder why FW would not have GWIII on the payroll working on the farm so his family could get by financially? It doesn't even seem to be that she had him working and paid under the table.
He and AW seem to have a history of trying to get by doing illegal things so it doesn't seem she had him employed. Why? [QUOTE/]

Someone, Angie or Billy, was getting SS, $ 530.00 a month, and $389.00 in food stamps. If it was Billy, perhaps that is why she paid him under the table. Also, he likely got Medicaid and would not want to lose that.

Pike County: Father accused in Rhoden massacre faced prior felonies

"....The same year he was indicted, Billy Wagner filed for bankruptcy. His wife is also named in the filing made in federal court in the Southern District of Ohio.

Their assets were listed at about $2,500, and their liabilities at about $10,000, including almost $2,500 owed to Sears for clothing, $500 in medical bills and $325 in unpaid utility bills.

Their only monthly income listed was $530 in Social Security payments and $389 in food stamps...."

Didn’t DeWine give us a hint at the news conference about the shoes, he more less told us that they bought shoes to match the Rhodens, in the show the young girl said that little Chris would ware his blue g

Why did they leave Flying W Farm.

BBM. My guess is AW, JW and GW4 moved from the farm and BW still lived at FWF. jmo. moo.

Well, you're under arrest right now, that's what's going on.

Very poor body cam footage. Could do much better Fayette County.

The Social Security Administration defines "substantial" as earning more than a certain amount each month. For 2018, you can work and collect your disability benefits as long as your earnings don't exceed $1,180 per month

Can You Work While Receiving Social Security Disability? -- The Motley Fool

As small as that check was, whoever was collecting it, probably became disabled early on, and never held a full time job, prior to obtaining SS.

I really can’t see these people being that smart, the Wagners was raised like a cult, JMO Fredericka is the head of this family, they do what their told, if you look back in the first arrest report someone laid in the woods watching the Rhodens, someone spent hours just listening to voice hack in the Rhodens home also the dogs had electric devices planted on them, JMO I think that what the dogs had on them was some kind of shocking device that could be operated remote control that’s why they didn’t try to eat them up they were shocking the dogs, JMO someone had to be the (money) power behind the murders, and all time spent on that crazy plan that went on that someone was paying for all the gadget that was used to bug the Rhodens house.

I’ve often thought the dogs had shock collars put on them to help keep them quiet while they were there.

I can see them going all over the place to find boots large enough for the Dad, George.
6'6" and over 300lbs would leave an easily suspicious footprint in the mud and blood tho.
Big and deep.

I’ve seen on a forensic files episode (I think) removing the sole of a shoe and glueing it to the bottom of another. JMO but the shoes they were buying could’ve been used that way. Throwing off their own sizes and matching the size and tread to either law enforcement or the Rhodens.
I don’t think they’d ever think of that but could’ve studied crime shows leading up to the night of the massacre

Documents filed in the murder cases of two members of the Wagner family are starting to paint a picture of the largest homicide investigation in Ohio history.

Records filed by prosecutors in the case of George "Billy" Wagner III indicate investigators on Oct. 31 searched the Peebles address of a farm the Wagner family sold before moving to Alaska and recovered an item from a well on the property.

The evidence listing says there were 21 photos from the search of the well, another seven photos of the recovered item and also an 8-page Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives report made on Nov. 7, 2018. Also listed from that search is "Information from Maglite."

Mon., May 15, 2017: The property in the 200 block of Peterson Road in Adams County Monday, which was the site of an intensive search Friday and Saturday by the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigations, tied to the Rhoden massacre. The property was recently sold by Jake Wagner, the former boyfriend of Hanna Rhoden, one of the victims found killed on April 22, 2016. Wagner is the father of Sophia Wagner, whom he gained full custody of after Hanna was killed.
THE ENQUIRER/CARRIE COCHRAN
George "Billy" Wagner, his wife and two sons were all arrested less than a week later, on Nov. 13. In announcing the arrests, former Ohio Attorney General and now-Governor Mike DeWine said a particular piece of evidence, a firearm suppressor according to reports at the time, paired with all the other evidence led to the arrests.

The documents indicate investigators searched the property twice in 2017 in addition to the well search in 2018. In the first two searches, investigators filed 530 photos, a separate photo of a "burnt" VCR and an 11-page evidence inventory.

Prosecutors say Billy Wagner, his wife Angela Wagner and two sons George Wagner IV, and Edward "Jake" Wagner methodically planned then killed members of the Rhoden family on April 22, 2016.

Central to the dispute between the two families, prosecutors say, was a custody battle for the daughter of Jake Wagner and Hanna Rhoden - Sophia Wagner.

Included in the evidence list in Billy Wagner's case is an entry named "Custody Messages (1 excel sheet with 519 entries)."

The Wagner family was the subject of three searches on farms in Pike and Adams counties in May 2017 tied to the Rhoden family massacre. The family photo was taken during a recent trip to Alaska. Pictured from left to right are: Bulvine; Angela Wagner, her son, George, her husband, George "Billy", her son, Edward "Jake," and his daughter, Sophia, 3. Jake Wagner is the former longtime boyfriend of Hanna Rhoden, who was killed in the April 22, 2016 killings in Pike County. The two are the parents of Sophia.
PROVIDED
Also in the list of evidence being handed to defense attorneys for Billy Wagner are cell tower records from his phone.

The document shows records for March 2016 and April 2016. Listed under those records is "Big Bear Lake (1 excel sheet)."

Previous Enquirer reporting indicatesChristopher Rhoden Sr., 40, and Christopher Rhoden Jr., 16, worked at the resort doing odd jobs or construction up until a week before they were found dead, killed "execution style" in their Pike County homes.

Also killed were Hannah Gilley, 20, Clarence "Frankie" Rhoden, 20, Dana Rhoden, 37, Gary Rhoden, 38, Hanna Rhoden, 19, and Kenneth Rhoden, 44.

In addition to shared custody of Sophia, surviving family members have said the two families shared business interests.

Other evidence listed in Billy Wagner's case includes 1,475 crime scene photos from the four scenes of the killings, several 911 calls, autopsy reports, audio and video interviews with the Wagners and four photos from Walmart and a Walmart receipt.

The evidence listed in Jake Wagner's case mirrors much of his father's with audio and video interviews, photos, 911 calls and autopsy reports. Jake Wagner was in court Thursday for a pretrial hearing.

Jake Wagner's grandmothers, Fredericka Wagner and Rita Newcomb, are facing charges they lied to the grand jury, and Newcomb is alleged to have forged custody documents. Filings in those cases alleged Fredericka Wagner lied about her son's bullet proof vest while Newcomb is alleged to have lied about the custody documents

WAVERLY – Motions regarding evidence collected in the largest murder investigation in Ohio history likely will begin being filed soon, providing a glimpse into the state’s case.

During the most recent round of pretrial hearings for the Wagner family accused of killing eight members of the Rhoden family in April 2016, a schedule was laid out for how the cases will proceed in the coming months. While the capital murder trial dates have yet to be set, it's safe to say they won't happen this year.

Prosecutors are still in the process of providing evidence, called discovery, to defense attorneys and have agreed to have all evidence turned over to the defense teams by June 1.

Recently filed lists of evidence provided to Angela Wagner's attorneys indicate prosecutors may have shoe tread evidence. There are reports researching treads from several pairs of shoes including a pair of women’s “original S.W.A.T.” boots, and an apparent search for surveillance video of shoes bought at WalMart.

There's a list of 17 different WalMart locations apparently checked with images pulled from six stores — Chillicothe, Waverly, Heath, Newark, New Boston, and Coshocton where three of the images are from April 21, 2016 - the day before the Rhodens were found slain in their sleep.

Investigators also searched the trash at a Jackson hotel on June 8, 2017 — the summer the Wagner family moved to Alaska where they lived until returning to Pike County last year.

There's also more than 80 reports from various phones and other electronics of the victims, the Wagners, as well as other Rhoden family members; 732 investigative reports; and more than 500 audio files of interviews.

Defense attorneys have agreed to file motions related to the evidence — which Judge Randy Deering refers to as substantive motions — by Sept. 1 and prosecutors must file responses to those motions by Sept. 16.

Meeting the September deadline means defense teams need to get through a terabyte of data of which they only have about half of right now, according to special prosecutor Angie Canepa.

If deadlines are met, then chances are good motions related to the evidence would be argued during a hearing like the procedural motions — which Deering refers to as non-substantive motions — which are set for September.

So far, the court has been slating appearances every other month meaning chances are decent hearings on substantive motions could take place in November, a full year after Angela Wagner, her husband George “Billy” Wagner III, and sons Edward “Jake” Wagner and George Wagner IV were secretly indicted on capital murder charges.

While the Wagner family grandmothers have summer trials slated on charges they lied to a grand jury, the very earliest any of the capital murder trials could be slated is the first quarter of 2020. Both women — Rita Newcomb and Fredericka Wagner — continue to be on house arrest. Fredericka Wagner unsuccessfully attempted to get her charges dismissed last month.

Newcomb also is accused of forging custody documents relating to murder victim Hanna Rhoden’s daughter with Jake Wagner. Her attorneys have been provided with copies of declarations appointing guardianship in case of death for Hanna, Jake, and George Wagner – the evidence list filed in court doesn’t indicate whether the document was for the younger or elder George Wagner.

Angela, Billy, Jake, and George Wagner IV have all pleaded not guilty to nearly two dozen charges including eight aggravated murder charges for the shooting deaths of the mother of Jake Wagner's child, Hanna Rhoden, 19, her parents, Christopher Rhoden Sr., 40, and Dana Manley Rhoden, 37, and her brothers Christopher Rhoden Jr., 16, and Clarence "Frankie" Rhoden, 20.

Frankie Rhoden's fiancée, Hannah "Hazel" Gilley, 20, was also killed, along with the elder Christopher Rhoden's brother Kenneth Rhoden, 44, and cousin Gary Rhoden, 38.

I don’t think they’d ever think of that but could’ve studied crime shows leading up to the night of the massacre

But if they did that, why AW do all the boot tread research?

I am only theorizing that the reason they went to so many different Walmarts is to help avoid detection. Let me know if you can think of a different reason to do this.

You pointed out an interesting fact, that by going store to store to store, it only draws scrutiny and makes them look like they are doing something suspicious.

If they were shopping for anything to facilitate their crimes in any way, then why bounce around from Walmart to Walmart? Why not, like you said, set up an online anonymous account or at least go out of state to more obscure stores?

The fact that there is no DNA from GW4, leads me to suspect his will be a circumstantial case. In other words, there will need to be overwhelming evidence of the things he did before and after April 22, 2016.

The exception being if they can tie the gun silencer or parts to make a silencer to him.
Amateurs don't think enough about the evidence they leave before they commit a crime. They are worried about evidence at the crime scene and getting rid of their clothes and weapons after the crime etc...

Jake's DNA will be all over the 2 Rhoden homes he shared with Hanna so it's a moot point unless his DNA is on the victims or on a weapon or on other obvious things from that night.

Sorry, I'm getting off subject, just speculating....

They said no dna but didn’t mention fingerprints for GW4.
