A local family shattered by a senseless tragedy received an outpouring of love and support on Friday.

Bradford High School sophomore Kaylie Juga was fatally shot and her 39-year-old mother, Stephanie Juga, was seriously injured in a shooting at about 3 p.m. Thursday at a house in the 10900 block of 66th Street on Kenosha’s west side.

Kenosha Police identified Martice L. Fuller, 15, of Kenosha as “a person of interest” and the lone suspect in the shooting. He was apprehended early Friday in Racine after a 15-hour manhunt.

A Wisconsin teen accused of fatally shooting his ex-girlfriend and injuring her mother appeared in court Monday for arraignment. Martice Fuller, 15, of Kenosha, was charged with first-degree intentional homicide, attempted first-degree intentional homicide and armed burglary. Prosecutors told the court there was a "high level of premeditation."...

Stephanie Juga told investigators Kaylie Juga was in her bedroom listening to music after school when she heard "a blood curdling scream," followed by a bang and another scream. Stephanie Juga said she went toward her daughter's bedroom and saw Fuller in the hallway. She said Fuller pointed a gun at her and she pleaded with him, "You don't have to do this." She told investigators Fuller replied, "Yes, I have to."...

Fuller was ordered held on $1 million bond, and he appeared to cry during part of the arraignment.

From link in @PastTense post above:

The Milwaukee County medical examiner conducted an autopsy and determined Kaylie Juga was shot once in the head and four times in the chest. Stephanie Juga was treated for her injuries at an area hospital.

. . . .
Prosecutors said the shooting followed "a conflict on social media" and Fuller was recently expelled from school for stalking Kaylie Juga at work and school.

"The parents have described on multiple occasions the defendant driving by their home at all hours," Kenosha County District Attorney Michael Graveley said. "They'd expressed this concern to a number of people that they were concerned about the safety of their daughter."

Kaylie Juga's father, Nicholas Juga, told WISN that Fuller is a coward who stalked his daughter for a few months, forcing her to change jobs so she wouldn't be at work alone.

"Kaylie was just starting to feel safe again," Nicholas Juga said.

"At a preliminary hearing Friday, a court commissioner has found probable cause to believe Martice Fuller of Kenosha killed his former girlfriend, 15-year-old Kaylie Juga, and attempted to kill her mother.

Fuller, who has turned 16 since his arrest for the May 9 shootings, is charged with first-degree intentional homicide and attempted first-degree intentional homicide...

Under Wisconsin law, Fuller was automatically charged as an adult because of the nature of the charges. But his defense attorneys may attempt to move the case into the juvenile justice system through a reverse waiver process.

Fuller is next expected to appear in court July 26 for a status hearing."

The killer's family are disgusting. The victim's friends wanted to hold a tribute for her after a game, and the killer's family said they wanted his brother to wear his jersey to it in tribute to HIM. UNBELIEVABLE

CBS58 reports that some wanted to show support for Fuller, and if KUSD would allow a tribute to Kaylie they would, legally, have to extend the same option for Fuller’s friends and family.

In an interview with WLIP, Nick Juga, Kaylie's father, said that Fuller's family wanted his step-brother to wear Fuller’s football jersey as a tribute, which was ultimately not allowed after Nick complained to the school board. Nick informed the station that after Fuller's family heard of the planned memorial dedicated to his daughter, they emailed KUSD stating that both tributes should be allowed, or neither.

School board reverses decision to ban cheerleaders' tribute to slain classmate at football game following backlash

Seriously? Your son murdered their daughter and tried to murder her mother, why should he get a tribute??

So sad. Her pic in the obit shows how young she really is (was). Just beginning to think more adult thoughts about her future and where she wanted to go with it. Sweet, pretty young lady.

WTH got hold of the ex(?) boyfriend? He is so young, too. And he may well be gone to his family and the rest of the world if he is convicted and sentenced to LWOP, if that is what the law allows.

Devastated families and friends, and one young lady gone and another one possibly lost for a long time.
