This irrigation canal runs between the school and the grove where #LizzyShelley was found. Based on where evidence was collected, it's likely Alex Whipple brought her through here. (2/5) @KUTV2News

AW maybe was aroused by the scene and felt some type of way that he had no means of, well, you know. They go to bed, he hears it, he gets more and more pouty about it.

Not buying this as a reason to kidnap a 5 year old and (probably) sexual assault them, then murder them with a knife or concrete block.

What Does Heroin Do to You?

From Balt and I see similar faces as his. Gaunt. Cheekbones sharp. His booking photo is different than the photo on page 1 (post #2) where he's healthier looking. JMO. Could be Meth. But I'd bet the farm he'd test positive for some type of drug.

LE hasn't yet disclosed what was in the pipe that was found on him, I don't believe. And we are not going to find out his toxicology results until the trial, if we ever do.

Or neither. I think he would have done this with or without the use of drugs. The alcohol may have helped him lose his inhibitions, but the urge was there to begin with. Imo

Good point. There is moral judgement everyone likes to make. Then there is the tightly defined criminal judgement to be made against specific criminal code.

Insanity and mental illness have formal definitions as well. I see a lot of people dismissing them as potential realities, saying he’s just evil. That’s very subjective and emotional. In the eyes of the law, there may be extenuating circumstances or mental issues that may play a role.

Some say it’s a cop-out or fake, but we have laws to protect us and our freedom. Morals and/or religious beliefs and/or popular opinion do not necessarily equal the legal system.

I have been cautiously checking the interwebs for updates on this precious child and the only thing I'm grateful for is that she has been found. As a sister of a decades long meth head and a mother the rest is the stuff of nightmares. I have logged many Nar-Anon meetings and this outcome was one if I ever considered put it beyond dead last. I believe I read this mentioned his dysfunctional childhood. Addiction is the easy way out. There are plenty of judges in recovery. This is just awful. It's the worst of the worst. No mother and sister should have ever had this on her radar.
