Someone made several calls to Lorraines job. Shes Megan's mom. He pretended to be NYPD. He tried to get Lorraines cell# from her co-workers.
NYPD was never on Megans case.
The calls continued until the bodies were found.

Lorraine was in competition with Mari and Lynn for media time, and lied thru her teeth about the calls to her job.
She knows it was Akeem and his boys fishing for information.

Actually, NYPD WAS on Megan's case as Akeem was from Brooklyn!!! That's NYPD that polices Brooklyn folks.

The uniqueness factor of the killer contacting the family REALLY intrigues me. It is SO very risky on his part. I am wondering if this factor could somehow "specifically" narrow the suspect list in some manner, although I'm sure it doesn't really.

Could it be that the killer of the Gilgo Beach 4 does not necessarily hate all women, but only the ones he considers “*advertiser censored*”? This information is accurate.
Melissa lived in the Bronx when she went missing.
Her mother filed a missing persons report with the NYPD.
The killer used Melissa's phone to call her sister.
The NYPD tried to track the killer down.
They were not able to do so.

I am pretty sure that you would find Birds, Squirrels, Racoons and Possums in that area. Maybe someone else can add to that list for you.

But, If you take a look at this map (credit Shadowraiths) you will see the next set of remains that this makes any sense for would be between 4-6 miles in Nassau County. (

This beach area has deer and seagulls. It is only connected to Long Island by man made bridges .Robert Moses Bridge, Wantagh Parkway Bridge to the west and Meadowbrook Parkway bridge to the west of that. There are no large carnivorous animals in the area. It is a narrow breaker that you can run north to south on it in 90 seconds with a surfboard under your arm in most areas. Hurricane Sandy in 2012 has wiped out any bones that ever remained that they didnt find , im sure. The road got washed out a bit also. A large berm has been erected on the southern shore of the breaker to protect it from future storms.

Has anyone been able to find out where Melissa danced?
Was it a club or did she do outcall dances?

I feel there is something about Melissa. He took an unusual interest in her as evidenced by the phone calls. He would have access to some of the other girl's phones, yet no calls were made that we know of.

I think it's possible he had more of a thing for her - it may be worthwhile to look into.

if she worked at a club, was there any customers that took an extraordinary liking to her? Would anyone be able to identify or describe anyone?

If she did out call (private parties) - did anyone request her more than once? Did she work with anyone that may have witnessed anuone with a special attachment to her?

I haven't seen anyone consider these possibilities on WS or anywhere - but maybe someone has looked into it and not mentioned it.....

she had multiple clients on LI and the one Terry knew about wasn't of interest to LE.

Le learned that "the john on LI" couldn't be a suspect, so the SK must be a different John.

LE didn't need terry to point it out in person because they knew about the house and they could tell from a question or two that Terry knew the same house, and they may want terry as a witness in the future.

a question I struggle with is why did our methodically careful perp kill SG, a girl who was not vulnerable? The other victims couldn't be tied to anyone or anyplace (until they were found dead). What was the mistake that was made?

Did JB tell the perp or the group that he picked this girl up himself, and so the perp was unaware of MP until after the fact or during the attack?

How did SG become scared of MP?
At some point in the night did the perp cloak his identity somehow (mask, pitch black room, etc) and SG didn't know who it was?

no one looked for any of the missing girls in
oak beach except for saras mom. cops looked for sara and found the others first....then finally found sara right near the party house.. ——> IMO the other girls died from drug overdoses accidently during parties and had to be disposed of , Sara G knew she was in trouble with the drugs she was given but was able to roll with it ,escaped, went from house to house looking for help till she was exhausted, disoriented and died. We are talking about rough sex parties with doctors(watch his antics on video)and cops (jailed)and liquor store owners(moved oos)deviant stuff that got out of hand _ imo. imo This is ‘serial killer who kills for joy, power,control’ verses ‘group of men who are rough sex people in the middle of no where,with no one watching’. ......go find the girls that have partied with them back in 2005 2006 2007 2008,,,imo,,,.that is untapped info....start building from there....the girls that died did not deserve death. -this case should be solved- yes this is off time line topic

Check out who lived only 4 or so blocks east of "D". Then check out where he lived in Oak Beach. Then check out when and what price he paid for his house at OB in 2000, and how much and who he sold it to in 2005. Check out what this fellow did in his illustrious career - drugs and prostitution enterprises. Then ask yourself why the FEDS opened a corruption investigation into the very people that arrested this individual. Check out who the prosecutor was in that case. He is alive and well and still corruptinng the system. Only the other day he got a blurb in Newsday in another case of corruption.

Multiple articles say police did record the last phone calls but they havent been released to the public, which is downright ridiculous because they need our help identifying him. And I dont see how it would prejudice her, plenty of threatening calls have been leaked by police but that's not what need that to bring him down. He has been making mistakes for a long time, Follow the trail

Just as an update, according to the podcast “LIST: Long Island Serial Killer” the calls were not recorded as Melissa’s sister did not receive a cell phone with recording capabilities until a few days after the final call was made. However, I’m not 100% certain that LE would make the fact that recordings existed public. I would assume by this point that information would have been released but who can be sure. This is the only source that I have personally seen so far that has made any claim regarding the status of recordings of the phone calls.

I knew that phone call to Amanda with the phrase "half breed" bugged me for a reason all these years. Anyone think that may be the words of not just a run of the mill racist white guy, but perhaps a white guy (JB) who might be upset that his affair with a black sex worker (LR) had allegedly, in her words, produced a biracial daughter?
