Sheriff's Office continues search for missing man

Officials are working to confirm the identity of the man pulled from the Muskingum River at Village Park in Dresden shortly after 10 a.m. Tuesday.

"According to Capt. Jeff LeCocq with the Muskingum County Sheriff's Office, a woman walking on Gene Cox Memorial Drive spotted the body around 9:30 a.m. and called 911...

LeCocq said there are several missing persons in the area, and they are particularly looking at those in the Knox and Coshocton County areas. However, he could not say whether the individual found was one of those missing individuals.

A 15-year-old Columbus teen was reported missing on Tuesday, June 11. Darnal Narayan was last seen swimming with friends on the Kokosing River near Honey Run Park in Knox County...

Pat Westfall, 40, of Coshocton was reported missing on March 22."

Autopsy ordered to identify man recovered from river

So it could be Pat or it could be someone else.

Oh man. I am paranoid now of walking by rivers, with all of the bodies recently found in them all over the country lately. So heartbreaking for loved ones and friends.

We won't know until the autopsy is done whether or not it is Pat. Whoever it is, RIP.
