"No further organized searches are planned after crews spent a third day scouring the Kokosing River in Knox County for a missing Columbus teenager who is presumed to have drowned, authorities said.
Narayan Darnal, 15, was reported missing at 3:28 p.m. Tuesday from the river where it runs through Honey Run Park. The boy, who is from Nepal and had just finished eighth grade at Mifflin Middle School in Columbus, was last seen swimming in the river with two other teens and an adult.
The area where the boy was last observed contains a large tree that is partially submerged and there are also underwater rock formations, crevices and river currents that pose potential hazards for divers, according to a release from the Knox County sheriff’s office. First reponders used boats, divers, sonar and K9 dogs in the effort to locate the victim over the past three days."

"A male’s body found floating in the Muskingum River in Dresden Tuesday morning could be that of a 15-year-old Columbus boy who disappeared while swimming on June 11 in the Kokosing River in Knox County and was presumed drowned, authorities said.
No positive identification has been made."
