Trail is a master manipulator. He plays with the minds of those around him- that’s what makes him so dangerous.
He shows up in a wheelchair and supposedly has had 2 heart attacks and a stroke since his arrest. He may have suffered those medical issues but I for one don’t buy it that he is this disabled. I think it’s all part of his manipulation. I have no doubt if given the chance would grab a deputies gun and walk out of there. Of course JMOO
ETA. And I make sure I am not sitting in his pathway to escape and have already determined where I can drop and get under a bench. LOL

Adjourned for lunch. Just 4 total witnesses so far. Heard from Jennifer and Alan Koll - both of whom were Trail and Boswell’s Wilber landlords. Also heard from Jennifer’s son Dayton. All three of them recall a “noticeable smell of bleach” beginning late on 11/15, lasted til 11/18

Jennifer Koll told investigators earlier, and testified again today, that she saw a tall, blonde woman with Bailey Boswell at the Wilber apt. in summer 2017. “It’s possible it’s someone else,” Koll said, but she maintained her confidence that the blonde woman w/ Boswell was Loofe

Jennifer Koll also claims to have *possibly* seen Loofe with Boswell early in the afternoon in Wilber on 11/15. Around 1 pm. Loofe clocked out at the Lincoln N 27th Menard’s at noon on 11/15. It’s previously been stated that Boswell picked up Loofe later that evening in LNK.

Saline County Deputy described using an excavator to search the Milford landfill for a blue tarp on 11/30. Wilber trash goes to a certain part of the landfill, so they hoped to recover trash from the Trail/Boswell apartment. No luck.

Landlord says Trail/Boswell described themselves as antique dealers. Needed a place close to Lincoln. Rented and paid cash immediately after walking through the basement apartment. Property sits back from the road. 1 year lease. Boswell listed her daughter as additional occupant.

Landlord’s step-son was living in a separate downstairs. Shared two walls with the basement apartment. Got home from Doane library around 10:30PM on 11/15. Claims he could already smell bleach then.

Also, would it be possible to kill someone in a duplex with your neighbors home without them hearing? So, if I'm remembering the timeline correctly, they would've gotten to Wilber around 8. By 10:30 it already smelled like bleach? That's pretty quick for the amount of work would've gone into what they did to her.

ETA - Or, another way to think of it, would they have risked killing her there knowing everyone was home?

I went back and reviewed my notes from the trial. Her purse was on the counter but contained a few receipts. There was no wallet. Car keys that were in the apartment were an extra set. The keys SL used that had a small Superman emblem on them were found later I believe in clay county along with her body. The picture of car keys entered into evidence showed them lying in what appeared to be grass The defense specifically stated that the keys in the picture were not found at her apartment

Ok, that makes more sense. She probably left with her keys, wallet, and phone in her coat pockets. I can see that.

JMO, I think he might be trying to take the full rap for the "accident", which IMO was premeditated murder in order to try to spare BB.

Aubrey Trail seeks to disallow photos of Sydney Loofe's body, video of purchase of cutting tools

In this article from May there is mention of the attorney generals office to request that 3 girls who hung out with AT and BB not to be photographed or put on TV. Perhaps one of these girls is a blonde that the landlord mistook for SL
On the day of opening statements( I was not there) it was relayed to me by a reporter but never saw this in print so I will preface this with an IMO that the names of 2 girls were disclosed but said they would be referred to as. Jen and Kim in the future and they would be providing testimony. Rumor has it that these 2 girls participated in sex films with AT and BB and are currently sequestered for future testimony. Perhaps it was one of those girls that were the blonde seen

"Jennifer said she believes she saw Loofe with Boswell twice at the apartment.

Once on November 15, she said she saw a skinny blonde in baggy clothing with Boswell around noon that day. After seeing the news of Loofe's disappearance, Jennifer said she thought the woman she saw was Loofe.

The prosecution told Jennifer they had the same video that shows Loofe at work at the same time Jennifer believes she saw her in Wilber.

Jennifer agreed it was possible she was wrong and did not see Loofe at the apartment on the 15th.

Though Jennifer also thinks she saw Loofe at the apartment in the summer of 2017. She said she was mowing in the backyard when she saw Boswell drive up and get out of her car with a blonde woman. She told police several times during the investigation that she believes this woman was Loofe."

I agree. BB must have told AT about her and he went to Menards to check her out then called BB to give her the thumbs up. Then they bought all the tools and we are suppose to think this wasn’t premeditated!!!
