Re-arrested (12/20/18) & indicted (12/10/18) with 1st degree murder. Plead not guilty. $500K bond, reduced (8/1/18) to $100K, bonded out in July. 12/10/18: No bond.
*Lisa K. Woolley (56) “grandma” charged (4/12/18) & arraigned (4/13/18) with 2 counts enabling child sexual abuse of 5 year old. Re-arrested (12/20/18) & indicted (12/10/18) with 1st degree murder. Plead not guilty. $500K bond, reduced (8/1/18) to $50K, bonded out in July. 12/10/18: $500K bond.
10/31/18 Update: Both have hearings on 12/20. 12/20/18: Both re-arrested. New charges filed for 1st degree murder. William served with warrant for sexual abuse of a child under 12 & Lisa served with warrant for enabling sexual abuse. No bond for William, Lisa’s bond at $500K. Next hearing on 1/10. 1/10/19: Next Criminal Docket hearing on 1/24 for both. 1/24/19: Hearing continued to 2/26. 2/26/19: Still awaiting DHS records, hearing continued to 3/5.
3/5/19 Update: Status hearings on 3/26 & 3/29 for both.

You are so diligent with case information, seems like it might get tedious for you at times. You are a real champ for keeping up with all these cases.

Is the reason for all these status hearings in this case because Court is waiting for these records from DHS? Or is that just one thing, and they get the status of other matters in this case, whatever they might be.

It is hard to believe, and impossible to understand, why grandparents would abuse their grandchildren, and murder one. Those people are slugs.

Where are the parents of these children, anyway?

Guess there is more to DFS handing over reports then just pulling a file and making copies. What takes them so long, I wonder?

So I figured I'd share.... :)

I believe it's DHS reports they are waiting for, as I have not seen them posted yet on the court site. And usually they will have Status hearings just to find out where everyone is on the case and if they are ready for trial.

I hear that, "nothing to do" ~ you do plenty for victims and WSers, you don't let us forget, were anyone so inclined. So many victims.

I suppose DHS has to go over their records with a fine-tooth comb to make sure they are not going to be blamed for anything. I would never suspect them of rewriting history, but they sure seem to be slow, all the time. Yep, I know they have a lot to keep up with, and funds are skimpy, and they are criticized a lot, but for the most part I expect that they do the very best they can, until they get so burnt out that they quit.

Anyway, just wanted to let you know that your efforts are appreciated!!
 
Does anyone know what a "motion to return property" means? Are these two out on bail? I saw where it said, "no bail" at one point for him. Then, I read where it said, $50,000 bail for her posted. So, is it understood he is still in jail but she is out on bail? I always felt there was a "third" party involved in this, but I haven't read anymore about this. Can we watch this anywhere?....does anyone know? Thanks for any and all responses. Niner...you are the "cat's meow!"
 
Wow, I just stumbled upon this case today. Don't know how I missed it before now. Totally disgusting and made me sick to my stomach. Would like to dig deeper. Is there any information about a third person in the home?
Grandparents are committing more and more heinous crimes against their own grandchildren, it seems. Sometimes we forget that horrendous parents become horrendous grandparents in time.

Don't know what "motion to return property" means....

but re bold - if they are out - NO! From my notes above:

William Woolley: $500K bond, reduced (8/1/18) to $100K, bonded out in July. 12/10/18: No bond.

Lisa K. Woolley: $500K bond, reduced (8/1/18) to $50K, bonded out in July. 12/10/18: $500K bond.

10/31/18 Update: Both have hearings on 12/20. 12/20/18: Both re-arrested. New charges filed for 1st degree murder. William served with warrant for sexual abuse of a child under 12 & Lisa served with warrant for enabling sexual abuse. No bond for William, Lisa’s bond at $500K.

First they were just charged with sexual abuse - but then charged with murder - so their bond got revoked.

I think that means, if the state confiscated anything that is not relevant they get it back. Could mean cell phone or
wallet, etc.. In the case of the cell phone, say they served a warrant for it while these two were in custody. The Jail had the phone and gave it up with the warrant - the Jail would be required to take it back under order from the court. In my jail we don't put stuff back into property without an order. I suspect this is what it means.

Hello - I shall be leaving on a Holiday to California!! And won't be around WS for at least 2 weeks (9/18 thru 10/2). I just stumbled upon this case and it was hard to read. The grandparents are sick and evil. MOO Does anyone know where the actual parents are? I wonder how many kids the grandparents have and I would bet their kids were molested as well. MOO
