Agreed.

Just wait until the FBI gets done mining all his electronic data.

I'll be shocked if they don't discover other crimes he's committed that are unrelated to this case.

His financial records are going to be shady.

We already know his employment "history" is falsified.

I wish we had copies of his W2s for the past decade.

I want to know how a shiftless, unstable guy like this goes from sleeping in janitor's closets on a college campus in 2012 to owning a slew of properties in 2019.

Something is rotten in the State of Denmark.

JMO.

Money.

I decided to delete this post regarding what was said before an interview with the cleaning person. The differences before and after made me uneasy but I seem to be a bit more negative about it than I usually am about interviews like this. As I said, I feel uneasy about the account of what took place.

I believe the police have shared as much information as they plan on sharing. That police chief seems to have a well founded soft spot for MacKenzie's shattered family.

Nothing more is needed. AA has been charged, evidence has been found and now we wait to see if he pleads guilty or goes to trial. MOO is that he will plea Not Guilty and spare everybody no pain, suffering and money.

I think what we will see are people now coming forward that had contact with him over the years. The ex wife, the date, the cleaning lady and the handyman. Each will tell their story and each will be blown up by the media.

Personally my heart goes out to the family and friends of MacKenzie. They are dealing with a terrible loss that will most likely go on for years and years if this case does go to trial.!

I don’t have a perfect memory, but from what I saw of her initial posts on FB this looks like it is incredibly embellished. I can’t go back and look at those but I really believe this has been turned into a 15 minutes of fame thing. In the comments about the cameras — she did not described that many cameras at (very) first. And why tell the press that he asked her to bring her daughter, and then let the young daughter talk to reporters.

My opinions only, of course, and perhaps I am not remembering everything correctly.

If this is regarded as a victim blaming please delete. But the person seems to be looking for publicity by putting her name out to anyone who will listen. She’s not a victim.

She did describe that many cameras, but it was in the written article, not in the video.

I’m talking about what she said before she ever talked to the press. There were hundreds of posts on that thread and she described what she saw. This is different.

MOO. I recognize that perhaps she didn’t tell everyone what she saw during the hours before her interview.

I don't follow on FB so I don't know what she said there. I believe this is the first report I saw here.

There was cameras everywhere in the house,” she said. “In the master bedroom, there was three cameras in there.”

She said the cameras were set up in the master bedroom, living room, kitchen, dining room and downstairs in the Airbnb unit.

His IT tech support specialist position is most likely an entry level position that pays minimum wage or a little above. I highly doubt it requires a certification or degree. He probably worked in a call center taking very basic calls and escalating the calls that required more than a simple fix.
IMO he has money coming from Nigeria or he's making money somewhere else.

Do we know where he worked...what company?

So am I. Her original post is still up and it matches the written news report.

Yes - a change I'd like to see is a change in attitude about online activities. Just because a young person is internet savvy and knows how to deftly navigate online and live life digitally doesn't mean that person is actually savvy.

Agreed... there are known “scams” ,if you will, that target others through online activity. That does not mean those that do this and know some things do know IT.

But, wouldn’t it be interesting IF we discovered he had actually gone to school for this in Nigeria?

And yes, I’ve found a link to him being in school in Nigeria, but I can’t say for sure it is him. That name is common. But I do believe this to be where he is from based on other research.

And school here was just a ruse ? A means to an end? Coming to the USA. I mean, he would have to get here to find someone to marry here, to stay here, correct?

Yes, I think that’s the same article that was linked in the quote of my original post. I try not to be negative on here and I don’t know exactly why this story bothers me. Maybe I should delete the entire post. Will go look at it and decide.
