I am curious if the car was operational or disabled. If disabled maybe he hitchhiked to get help. Did Grant have a cell phone with him and has his family tried contacting him. If car is operational it seems strange just to park his car on the shoulder of road in the middle of no where.

It's a fairly remote location, but hwy 6 thru Williamsford would be a steady stream of traffic heading north for the holiday weekend. He would have been seen by many people if he had been hitchhiking. I hope the police are able to find out what happened and where he is!

Can anyone, who is local, show us where the car was found....
The whole road is a 2 hour drive.

Found the answer to my question..... "His vehicle has been located on the northbound shoulder of Highway 6 in the area of Williamsford."

I wonder why he was going to Owen Sound? Does his family have a cottage there? Or family/friends for the long weekend?
I wish we knew more.
