I have followed this since almost day 1. If she is found on that property, it will be mind-boggling, as that house and property has been searched multiple times, including with k9's.

ETA. I pray she is found there, if only so her loved ones may lay her to rest with dignity, and may begin, finally, to have at least some small measure of closure.

Authorities are at Perkins Lane, which is one of the sites where search teams were deployed in the weeks following Spurlock's disappearance. The road is blocked at the Fall Lick Road intersection.

Police wouldn't provide many details on their presence, but the department is the lead investigating agency in the missing Richmond woman's case. Garrard County authorities have joined Richmond police at the scene. Kentucky State Police is also at the scene, and troopers confirm this is directly related to the Spurlock case.

WKYT has confirmed a coroner is at the scene of the search.

The FBI is also at the search scene.

There are spotlights at the site of the police presence, indicating there will be activity into the night. bbm

As many suspected it seems as though, tragically poor SS never left that property

I have no words and just thinking about her loved ones

This has been such a long and difficult road for all that knew and loved her

Hopefully they will atleast have some answers finally

According to Rodney Richardson with the Richmond Police Department, investigators are working on Spurlock's case around the clock.

Spotlights would definitely indicate they are going to be at the property for a bit. Hoping so much for some answers for Savannah’s loved ones. Big hugs to all. No one wants to grieve but they haven’t even have a proper chance to go through emotions. And I pray she is found so that the healing can begin as much as possible.

Maybe they have solid information that she is there somewhere (like a confession or witness who saw her body on that property) or they have found some human tissue that would indicate that she was there and would need the coroner to handle the tissue.
