A $10,000 Reward is offered in the strangling of a man whose body was found in his apartment two years ago

Temple Terrace- The family of a man murdered two years ago is offering a $10000 reward leading to the arrest of his killer.
On July 15th, 2002, Temple Terrace police found the partially decomposed body of Abdul Rahman al-Hamdman, 47, in his apartment at 8504 W Riverchase Drive in the Colonial Grand Apartments.
Al-Hamdman had been strangled, Temple Terrace detective Bernard Seeley said Tuesday after the agency released the reward information. Seeley also said that al-Hamdman's 1991 Nissan Maxima had been found at 4904 Nassau Street, a block from N. West Shore Boulevard, about 7 AM July 11th, 2002; four days before his body was found.
Someone had tried to set it on fire, Seeley said. The car was smoldering when Tampa police arrived. The car was impounded with no attempt to contact al-Hamdman. Seeley said the information about the car was not released earlier because the investigation "was so very active". Since then, its been a cold case with no developments.
