Skylea is approximately 5' tall and 100lbs. She was last seen wearing a black shirt with Mario and Luigi on it and black pants. Skylea Carmack, described as being 5 feet tall, weighing 100 pounds, was last seen wearing a black Mario and Luigi shirt and black pants, according to a Facebook post from the department.

She was wearing teal Converse high top tennis shoes and blue and silver finger nail polish, according to the Indiana State Police.

Carmack may be carrying a pink backpack, blanket with puzzle pieces on it and a pillow, according to state police. She may answer to Sky or Boog.

The Indiana State Police is investigating the disappearance of Skylea Rayn Carmack, a 10 year old white female, 5 feet tall, 100 pounds, blonde hair with blue eyes, last seen wearing a black shirt with Mario and Luigi, black pants with red design or cherries, teal high top tennis shoes and may be carrying a pink backpack, blanket with puzzle pieces on it and a pillow. Skylea may answer to Sky or Boog.

Skylea is missing from Gas City, Indiana which is 78 miles northeast of Indianapolis and was last seen on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at 4:00 pm. She is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance.

The absence of a parent in the media asking for help is concerning to me. The local Indianapolis and Ft Wayne stations are certainly covering what little there is to cover. I 69 runs N-S thru this area, several truck stops and the like.

From the PD FB page comments- it seems mother is perhaps non-custodial.
