AZ AZ - Jesse Conger, 37, marine veteran, Scottsdale, 14 August 2019

Does he have an Android phone? If so, he might be able to be tracked via Google tracking.

Family, volunteers conducting 'massive' search for Marine missing since August

A volunteer group is coordinating with the family of a missing Marine to conduct a massive search next Saturday.

On Oct. 5, Code of Vets and Teamsters Local 104 will help Conger’s family search rest stops, gas stations and roads for leads or the car Jesse was in.

The logistics of the search are still being worked out.

If you’d like to know more about the search, you can reach Gretchen Smith at 843-685-2768.

There is a Google map here where you can see where the family has already looked.

I find this case crazy. There are a lot of questions that aren't being answered that I think could be the clue to finding him. First of all current girlfriend claims that they've been together 5 years, but if you look on Jesse's FB he has a different girlfriend pictured, that some are saying was his fiance up until May of this year (not a single picture of current GF) This ex has filed a protective order against Jesse and they are due in court on 10/9 concerning the matter. Also current girlfriend is claiming Jesse has his passport with him, but that it's expired, and while this may be true she posted pictures of them in Mexico the week before he disappeared. This all seems a bit fishy, hopefully police have questioned both of these ladies are are trying to find the truth.

"He could be anywhere but he liked this area," Osuch said.

"If we find the car then the county search and rescue and police can start looking for him she said. Until we find the car, he's still just a person who drove off."

Conger was in the Marine Corp for 10 years. His sister said he saw a lot of tragedy, between being a search and rescue swimmer and doing three combat tours. His service took a toll mentally.

"He was extremely paranoid in the days leading up to when he left, he was extremely depressed," she said. "We just need to find him."

Conger's service dog also joined in the search. Osuch said they'll go anywhere they have to find him.

"We're not going to stop. He's a veteran, I'm a veteran and like they said in the Army we never leave a man behind," Osuch said.

One of the most important laws about Veterans’ Suicide Prevention is the Joshua Omvig Veterans Suicide Prevention Act (JOVSPA) of 2007, supporting the creation of a comprehensive program to reduce the incidence of suicide among veterans. Named for a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom who died by suicide in 2005, the act directed the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to implement a comprehensive suicide prevention program for veterans. Components include staff education, mental health assessments as part of overall health assessments, a suicide prevention coordinator at each VA medical facility, research efforts, 24-hour mental health care, a toll-free crisis line, and outreach to and education for veterans and their families. In the summer of 2009, VA added a one-to-one “chat service” for veterans who prefer to reach out for assistance using the Internet.
