"A $1,500 reward is being offered by friends and family for information that leads to the location of a missing Dunlap man. The last time 29-year-old Matthew Tyler Henry was seen was back on April 15, 2018 in Dunlap. He is described as a Caucasian male, standing 5’9” and weighing about 170 pounds. Henry has brown hair and hazel-colored eyes. Police report that he has not contacted and friends of family since his April disappearance. If you have information on Henry’s whereabouts, call 911."

Dunlap police say a man missing for nearly a year may have been killed.

April 15th will mark a year that Matthew Henry has been missing.

After interviewing over 200 individuals, the TBI, FBI and local law enforcement believe that Henry is a homicide victim.

Evidence shows that there are individuals in Dunlap and the surrounding area that are involved in Matthew’s disappearance.

Henry has previously resided in Dunlap, Tennessee. He is known to have frequented Marion County, Bledsoe County, White County, Van Buren County, and Hamilton County in Tennessee. He has also frequented Dalton, Atlanta, and Albany, Georgia.

Henry was last seen wearing his facial hair in a full beard.

Matthew Tyler Henry was last seen on April 15, 2018, in Dunlap, Tennessee. He was reported missing on April 27, 2018, and has not been seen or heard from since.

Some quotes from that Oct 7, 2019 article:

"Not long after the TBI came to assist us and the FBI once we got their assistance the information that has been coming in has greatly increased," said Huth.

"We believe we have a pretty good theory right now that we're following on that we believe at some point is going to come to a conclusion," said Huth.

There is also up to $3,500 dollar reward for information in regards to this case.

I'm glad the TBI and the FBI are assisting. Huth is the Dunlap Police Chief.

Thought I would add his Charley and NamUs here because I didn't see it here already. Interesting about his drug history the skeletal that was found had teeth that were worn down flat, that could be a sign of teeth grinding or bruxism which is common for people that are under the influence of meth. So that coupled with the close proxemity to his last known location that very well could be him.
