Tuesday, Oct. 1st:
*Sentencing Hearing (@ 9am MT) - CO - Makayla Victoria Roberts (10) & Hannah Elizabeth Rosaline Marshall (8) (June, 2017, Norwood; found Sept. 8, 2017) – only for *Nashika Leonie Bramble (36) (from Georgia) "Mom" charged with 2 counts of 1st degree murder & 2 counts of child abuse resulting in death (have been dismissed 7/8/19). Plead not guilty. $125K bond.
Trial started on 7/8/19 to 7/18/19. Chief Deputy District Attorney Seth Ryan said Monday that he plans to dismiss the fatal child abuse charges in Bramble’s case and will only prosecute the murder charges in the upcoming trial. Moved to Montrose from its original location in Telluride. The trial is scheduled to last 3 weeks, but Judge Yoder said Monday that it will probably only take about two weeks. Jurors found Bramble guilty of 2 counts of 1st degree murder. Sentencing on 10/1/19.
Accomplices:
*Ashford Nathaniel Archer – Found guilty. Sentence to 24 years in prison w/credit for time served. 5/8/19: Filed an appeal on guilty verdict. No longer in court system.
*Madani "Ama" Ceus – Found incompetent to stand trial. The court will receive an update at a status conference at noon on 7/26 in Telluride. Murder case motion hearing on 10/25. A four-week jury trial for Ceus will begin on Jan. 13, 2020.
*Ika Eden – found incompetent to stand trial. Status hearing 11/13.
*Frederick "Alec" A. Blair – Plead guilty to plea. Sentencing hearing on 10/31.

*Sentencing Hearing (@ 9:30am PT) – CA – Trang Tran (23) (remains found Jan. 27, 2018 off Foresthill Rd in Auburn, Placer County) – *Michael Forest Abeyta (husband) arrested (1/31/18) & charged (2/5/18) for 1 count of murder. Plead not guilty. No bail.

*Trial set to begin (@ am CT) Nicaragua / NY – Haley Anderson (22) (Mar. 8, 2018, New York, found Mar. 9, 2018) – Orland Tercero (22) arrested (3/14/18) in Managua, Nicaragua. Charged (8/12/19) with the crime of femicide.
Trial set to begin 10/1/19.
Nicaragua has denied extradition back to U.S. They will try him there.
NY – Suspect charged (3/10/18) with 2nd degree murder. Broome County
Could take years to extradite suspect from Nicaragua.
5/25/18: Broome County DA filed 2nd degree murder charges; U.S. Ambassador to Nicaragua working to get him back to U.S.
5/26/18 still in Nicaragua. 3/13/19: Still trying to extradite him from Nicaragua. 8/12/19: Nicaragua will try him for crime.
9/9/19: Appeared in court. Trial set to begin 10/1/19 in Nicaragua. Eight witnesses are scheduled to testify against him, including Anderson’s parents & ex-boyfriend.


Friday, Oct. 4th:
*Sentencing Hearing (@ 9am CT) – KS – Anthony E. Bunn (2 yrs old) (wouldn’t eat his hot dog) (May 6, 2018, Wichita) – only for *Elizabeth Woolheater (22) “mom” charged (5/8/18) & arraigned (9/6/18) with 1st degree murder. Originally arrested (5/9/18) & charged (5/7/18) with attempted murder & endangering a child. After Anthony died charges were changed. Plead not guilty. $250K bond.
10/5/18, 2/8/18, 211/18 Status hearing. 5/20/19 Update: Woolheater in court on 5/24 for “Criminal Jury Trial-Control Only” hearing. Trial is scheduled for September.
7/11/19 Update: Status hearing scheduled on 7/11. Next criminal motions hearing on 7/25. 7/25/19: Motion to Suppress hearing on 8/23.
8/23/19 Update: Plead guilty. Sentencing hearing on 9/9. 9/9/19: Sentencing rescheduled for 10/4.
*Lucas Aaron Diel (25) (BF) – 6/25/19: under plea agreement plead guilty. Sentenced to 586 months or nearly 49 years.

*Trial set to begin (@ 9am CT) – TX – Antonio & Dawn Armstrong (both 42) (July 29, 2016, Houston) – Antonio “A.J.” Armstrong, Jr. (18/16 @ time of crime) arrested (7/29/16), charged (8/1/16) & arraigned (7/26/17) with capital murder. Plead not guilty. $200K bond.
First Trial ended in a mistrial (8:guilty/4:not guilty).
Re-trial set to begin 10/4/19.

Tuesday, Oct. 1st:

*Jury Selection Continues (Day 5) (@ 8:30am ET) – FL – Dr. Teresa Ann Grace Sievers (46) (June 29, 2015, Bonita Springs) - *Jimmy Ray Rodgers (28) arrested & charged (2/23/16) & arraigned (5/5/16) with 1st degree premeditated murder with a weapon, conspiracy to commit 1st degree premeditated murder & burglary. Plead not guilty. No bond. DA will seek DP.
Trial began on 10/1/19 – with jury selection. Trial expected to last 4 to 5 weeks.

10/4/19 Day 4 Jury Selection: Round 2: 20 people questioned. Lunch. 12 people more to go of the 20. 2 have been excused. After lunch, 1 person excused for hardship & 1 against DP. Jury selection is done... for the day. Wrapped up just before 6:30pm. Have more questioning scheduled for Monday 10/7 & Tuesday, 10/8. About 60 potential jurors were left at the beginning of phase two of selection, during which they were questioned about their beliefs on the death penalty. This phase is expected to last at least three and a half days in court as all the jurors have to be brought into the courtroom individually to answer capital punishment-related questions. The final phase of selection is expected to finish next Wednesday or Thursday. But Monday 10/7 will start with a quick hearing for Sievers.

*Re-Sentencing Hearing (@ 10:30am CT) - ND - Savanna Marie LaFontaine-Greywind (22) (Aug. 19, 2017, Fargo) - *William Henry Hoehn (32) indicted (8/19/17) with conspiracy to commit murder (Class AA Felony). Plead not guilty. $2M cash bond. Plead guilty (9/4/18) to conspiracy to commit kidnapping (Class A Felony) & giving false info to LE (Class A Misdemeanor).
Trial was set for 5/15/18 but cancelled, continued to 9/18/18.
9/4/18 Update: Hoehn pleaded guilty Tuesday to charges of kidnapping and providing false information to law enforcement in the August 2017 death of Savanna. Hoehn is still scheduled for trial on Sept. 18 on a charge of conspiracy to commit murder. Felony Jury Trial 9/18 thru 9/28.
9/28/18 Update Day 9 of trial: The jury has found William Hoehn not guilty in the conspiracy to murder Savanna. Sentencing date for other charges has not been announced, should be in about a month.
10/29/18 Update: Hoehn has been sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole for conspiring to kidnap and lying to police in the death of a woman whose baby was cut from her womb.
5/28/19: Appeals his life sentence.
8/22/19 Update: A ruling came on Thursday and orders that Hoehn of Fargo be resentenced. Hoehn plead guilty to conspiracy to commit kidnapping in the August 2017 attack on Greywind, who died of her injuries but whose baby survived. He entered the plea before a jury acquitted him of conspiracy to commit murder. The North Dakota Supreme Court has ruled that a judge overstepped by giving a life prison sentence. A new sentencing date should be set in two weeks, depending on whether prosecutors file for a rehearing. North Dakota Supreme Court judge Jerod Tufte stated that Cass County prosecutors misled Hoehne ahead of his guilty plea and disagreed with the criteria used to enforce the dangerous special offender statute. Tufte stated that the 2012 child abuse case bore no similarities to the conspiracy kidnapping charges, which constituted an incorrect application of the statute. Hoehn, who is currently in federal custody, is expected to re-sentenced on 9/6. He could faces a maximum penalties of 20 years in prison for kidnapping and one year for lying to authorities. Parole hearing after 25 years.
9/6/19 Update: Re sentencing hearing moved to 10/7.
*Brooke Lynn Crews (38) also charged with same counts, plead guilty on 12/11/17 & sentenced on Feb. 2, 2018 to life without parole.

(@ 9am CT) – TX – Jayden Alexander Lopez aka “Little Jacob” (4 yrs) (died Oct. 17-18, 2017, found Oct. 20, 2017, ID’d April 5, 2018, Galveston) – only for *Rebecca Suzanne Rivera (34) “mom” arrested (6/19/18) & charged (6/20/18) & indicted (8/7/18) with 1st degree felony offense of “injury to a child by omission causing serious bodily harm”, 2nd degree felony tampering with evidence & fabricating evidence. $250K Cash or Surety Bond.
If convicted, Rivera faces a range of punishment on the child injury charge of five to 99 years or life in prison, and a range of punishment of two to 20 years in prison for the charge of tampering with physical evidence.
Trial is scheduled for 10/7-continued to 12/2.

*Trial set to begin (@ 1:30pm ET) - PA - Bryce Kenneth Tompkins (45) (Dec. 25, 1988, New Castle; Dec. 26, 1988 found Hickory Township in the Neshannock Creek in Lawrence County) - *Regis Andrew Brown (59) arrested, charged (Oct. 18, 2018) & arraigned (5/28/19) with criminal homicide, 2 counts of aggravated assault & intimidation of a witness. Plead not guilty. No bond.
During an interview with officials this year, Brown confessed to Tompkins’ murder, saying Tompkins had witnessed one of the burglaries.
Plead guilty (Mar. 2018) & sentenced (Oct. 2018) & is serving a life sentence (w/o parole) for the 1st degree murder & 3rd murder in the deaths of his wife, Michelle Brown (53) & his step daughter Tammy Greenawalt (35) in Erie County.
Strong suspect in eight homicides in northwestern Pennsylvania dating from 1986 to 2016.

The prosecution rests, the defense asks judge to throw out the case based on lack of evidence. Judge refuses saying circumstantial evidence is sufficient to send to the jury. Jared Chance will not testify in his own defense. Defense rests. Chance’s lawyer asks if the jury can be given instructions for involuntary or voluntary manslaughter instead of 2nd degree murder. Judge says they’ll stick with 2nd degree murder. Closing arguments start on 9/13.

Murder for Hire hit man. They split a $100K payoff for murder.
Trial started on 9/23/19. Jury: 10 women & 2 men & 1 alternate (woman); was 2 alternates one (man) got sick & excused on 10/3/19. Jury Deliberations on 10/10: 4.5 hours. 10/11: 6.5 hours for guilty verdict on 2 of 3 counts for Garcia. Total 11 hours.

*Byron DeLance McBride, Jr. (19) charged & indicted (5/18/17) on capital murder, kidnapping, and possession of stolen property; held without bond, could get DP. Prosecutors say he is the one who kidnapped Kingston in his mother's car, and shot and killed him.
Trial on April 23rd was delayed. 4/20/18 update: 19-year-old Byron McBride's trial was expected to start next week (4/23/18), but it has been postponed. The defense filed a motion to have a mental evaluation done.
5/16/19: Trial was set to start 10/1/19. 8/29/19: Plead guilty & was sentenced to life without parole.
*DeAllen Tyreek Washington (17) charged & indicted (5/18/17) on accessory after the fact of murder, kidnapping, and motor vehicle theft; accused of helping McBride after Kingston's murder. Held without bond, could face 15 years in prison with plea deal.
2/5/18 plead guilty to accessory after the fact to kidnapping, will testify against 2 others. Was supposed to be sentenced on March 26, delayed to October, after he testifies in McBride trial. On 7/18/18 motion to move sentencing to 7/23/18 granted in the interest of Justice. Sentenced to 20 years with 5 years suspended in prison.

*Trial set to begin (@ 9am ET) - FL - Myles Hill (3) (Aug. 7, 2017, Orlando) - Deborah Denise St. Charles (51) (Day care driver) - charged with aggravated manslaughter of a child; not an approved driver for day care center. 10/18/19 Day 7: Judge is on the bench early checking on any outstanding issues before the juries 9 a.m. call time. Just a few minor discussions. It appears Judge Kyle just denied the defense objection for Elizabeth Parker to speak to Wright between direct & cross-examination. After a brief sidebar to address, Parker disappeared into another room. Parker and bailiff just returned. Discussing video of proffer that may be introduced by defense. Both have reviewed. Curtis Wayne Wright on the stand. Jury is in. Cross examination being questioned by Assistant Public Defender Kathleen Fitzgeorge. Dr. Thomas Coyne (Medical Examiner's Office). State rests their case. Jury is excused until Monday, 10/21 at 10am. Assistant Public Defender Jay Brizel is motioning for a judgement of acquittal. DA Ross stated to the judge that the State has met its burden and asks that the judge denies the defense's request for acquittal. Judge reserves ruling on motion for Judgement of Acquittal. He'll rule on Monday. Defense will start if motion is denied.

10/1/19 Day 1: Several witnesses testified (Karen Anderson, Haley's mother. Josephine Artin, Haley's friend mentioned it article). Trial continues on 10/4. No trial today, continued to 10/11.
10/11/19 Day 2: Testimony from Binghamton police officers to outline their investigation of the crime scene. Some of that included security video clips from outside Tercero's residence, which captured his movements after the murder. Witnesses: Binghamton police Investigator Carl Peters. Binghamton Police Officer Kristy Sager. Dr. James Terzian, a pathologist at Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton. The Nicaraguan court is dictating the course of the trial, asking the Broome County DA to provide witnesses upon request. Trial resumes on 10/22.

8/24/19 Update: plead guilty to her murder and kidnapping and entered an Alford plea for rape and sodomy. Additionally entered what is called an Alford plea, to counts two & three which means that he agreed that the Commonwealth had enough evidence to convict him, but he did not agree that he committed the act of count two & three which is the rape & the sodomy charges. Sentencing is scheduled for October 24 and 25. The plea proposes a sentence of life in prison without the possibility of parole.

Trial began on 10/14/19. Trial ended on 10/23/19 with guilty on both charges.
10/22/19 Day 7: State witnesses: Corey Kitowski (ex-BF). Jesse Luth (Krista's friend). Christopher Lorbecki (Krista's ex husband). State rests theirs case. Defense witness: Krista's brother (no name given). No information available yet. Trial continues on 10/23.
10/23/19 Day 8: Defense witnesses: Jeremy Symonds (Jason's brother). Jason will not testify. Defense rests. Closing arguments done. The jury began deliberating just before noon Wednesday & announced they had a verdict shortly after 1:30 p.m. The jury found Sypher guilty of first-degree intentional homicide and also found him guilty of hiding Krista's corpse. Sypher faces a maximum of life in prison. Eagon will decide whether he will be eligible for parole and, if so, at what point in his sentence. Eagon did not schedule a sentencing date on Wednesday. The attorneys plan to meet with the judge Monday (10/28) to determine if a presentence investigation is needed.

*Sentencing Hearing (@ am PT) – CA – Teresa Broudreaux (20) pregnant (Mar. 4, 1980, Palos Verde Estate) – *Robert Allen Yniguez (65/37 @ time of crime) arrested (9/30/17) & charged (9/30/17) & recharged (4/30/19) & arraigned (8/29/18) & re-arraigned (6/17/19) with 1st degree murder with the special circumstance allegation of murder during the commission of a rape. (The charge makes him eligible for the death penalty). Plead not guilty. Held without bond. DNA familial match.
Trial is scheduled for 4/11/19 for jury selection & trial starts 4/16. 4/11/19: Trial was cancelled. Next hearing is scheduled for 4/29.
4/29/19 Update: Charges were dismissed to give Prosecution more time to secure a witness.
6/17/19 Update: Arraignment hearing on refilled charges. Plead not guilty. After the original case, filed in October 2017, was dismissed in April as the prosecution requested more time to secure a witness. The case was refiled shortly after. Next court date is scheduled on 7/22.
7/22/19 Update: On 9/19/19 plead no contest to 1st degree murder. Will be sentenced on 10/28.

*Trial was to begin (@ 9am CT) – TX – Debra Sue Reiding (18) (Jan. 22, 1979, Austin) – *Michael Anthony Galvan (64/25 @ time of crime) arrested & charged (5/25/18) & indicted (5/30/18) with 1 count of murder & 1 count of capital murder. $750K bond. Reduced to $250K (9/9/19) & has bonded out.
Was a co-worker of Debra’s.
Trial set to start 10/28/19.
9/9/19 Update: Galvan was allowed to leave the Travis County Jail on Monday (9/9) after prosecutors announced they are still awaiting DNA test results and cannot proceed until they have them. In granting a motion from the state to delay the trial until next month, state District Judge Brad Urrutia also agreed to reduce Galvan's bail from $750,000 to $250,000 and to free him on a personal recognizance bond. Must stay in his home except for doctor appointments and also wear a GPS monitoring device that will track his movements. The new trial date is Oct. 28.

*Trial to set to begin (@ 8:30am MT) - CO – Kelsey Berreth (29) (last seen Nov. 22, 2018, Woodland Park; phone pinged 800 miles away in Gooding, Idaho on 11/25/18 @ 5:13pm, reported missing Dec. 2, 2018; not found) – *Patrick Michael Frazee (32) “fiancé” arrested (12/21/18), charged (12/31/18) & arraigned (4/8/19) with 2 counts 1st degree murder (to align with the prosecution’s theories on how he did it), 3 counts of solicitation to commit 1st degree murder, 1st degree felony murder (death during attempted robbery) and charged (4/5/19) with 2 counts of crime of violence (sentence enhancer). Plead not guilty. Held without bond. DA will not seek DP.
Trial set to begin on Monday, 10/28. Jury Selection starts 10/28, trial should start 11/1. Trial is expected to last 3 weeks (thru 11/18/19).

*Krystal Jean “Lee” Kenney – Plea deal-plead guilty to 1 count of tampering with physical evidence, a class 6 felony, with an open sentence. Will testify at Frazee’s trial. Review hearing on 12/2.

*Trial set to begin (@ am CT) - MS - Kingston Frazier (6) (May 18, 2017, Jackson-killed by 3 carjackers) - only for *Dwan Wakefield, Jr. (17) charged (3/12/18) with accessory after the fact to murder, accessory after the fact of kidnapping & accessory after the fact to motor vehicle theft as adult. Plead not guilty. Faces up to 45 years in prison. Was released on $275 bond, but was re-arrested (3/12/18) & put behind bars. A bond hearing on 3/27/18: Judge reset bond at $275K with electronic monitoring.

*Byron DeLance McBride, Jr. (19) - 8/29/19: Plead guilty & was sentenced to life without parole.
*DeAllen Tyreek Washington (17) - 2/5/18: Plead guilty to accessory after the fact to kidnapping, will testify against 2 others. On 7/18/18 motion to move sentencing to 7/23/18 granted in the interest of Justice. Sentenced to 20 years with 5 years suspended in prison.

*Sentencing Hearing (@ 11am MT) - CO - Makayla Victoria Roberts (10) & Hannah Elizabeth Rosaline Marshall (8) (June, 2017, Norwood; found Sept. 8, 2017) – only for *Frederick "Alec" A. Blair (23) charged with 2 counts felony child abuse causing death & accessory to a crime, bond $125K.
5/24/18 plead guilty to plea deal to accessory to a crime to avoid the 2 counts of felony child abuse causing a death. Will testify against others. Status hearing on 3/28/19. Status hearing moved to 4/25. Sentencing on 5/30.
4/25/19 Update: Sentencing hearing 5/30 cancelled. Next Status Conference hearing on 8/29. 8/29/19 Update: Sentencing scheduled for 10/31.

*Ashford Nathaniel Archer aka Nathan Yah aka Nathanyah Nitchitu. 3/21/19 Day 14: Jury finds Archer guilty on all counts. 6/4: sentenced to 24 years in prison with credit for time served. 5/8/19: Filed appeal re his guilty verdict. No longer in court system.
*Nashika Leonie Bramble - 7/18/19 found guilty of 2 counts of 1st degree murder. Sentencing on 10/1. Sentenced to life in prison without parole.
*Ika Eden – Found incompetent to stand trial. Status hearing on 11/13.

Arce (28) “mom” arrested (4/20/18) & charged & indicted (9/12/18) & arraigned (9/17/18) with 2nd degree murder (Class A felony), charged (4/30/18) & arraigned (9/18/18) with 2 counts of attempted aggravated murder of 2 police officers (Class A felony), 2 counts of attempted aggravated assault on 2 police officers (Class C felony) & 2 counts of 2nd degree assault (Class D felony). Plead not guilty. No bond.
Two LE were trying save her baby. Arce was in intensive care at Westchester Medical Ctr. w/3 gunshot wounds.

8/20/19 Update: DA offered a plea deal if she pleads guilty & takes the maximum 25 years to life for the slaying. Arce initially rejected the offer during an appearance Tuesday before state Supreme Court Justice Barry Warhit, who said it will only be available until she is next in court on Sept. 5.
9/5/19 Update: Arce pleaded guilty in the killing of her 2 1/2-year-old daughter last year. Admitted in Westchester County Court today that she intended to kill her daughter. State Supreme Court Justice Barry Warhit promised Arce a prison sentence of 25 years to life when she is sentenced on Oct. 31.
