Louisa County Sheriff's Office

Alert issued for missing teen believed to be with 34-year-old man

Interesting, from this article "Police have not yet issued a warrant for Lynch’s arrest, nor have they publicly accused him of any wrongdoing."
Is that normal??? Do police wait until she's found to arrest?? Seems that a 34 year old man taking a 14 year old girl would be cause for a warrant
If this is the mom’s ex and she’s familiar with him, there might be an unsafe situation with Mom and he’s just interfering with custody and getting her out of it.

FBI joins search for missing Louisa County teen

Special agents with the Richmond division of the FBI are joining the search for a missing Louisa Count teenager.

According to the FBI, they're partnering with Louisa County Sheriff's Office investigators to help find 14-year-old Isabel Shea Hicks, who they consider an endangered missing juvenile.

Hicks was last seen at home in Bumpass in the early morning hours of Monday, Oct. 21.

She's believed to be in the company of 34-year-old Bruce William Lynch, Jr., also of Bumpass.

Investigators believe Lynch and Hicks may be camping in a wooded area.

They also say Lynch should be considered armed and potentially dangerous. If you see him or Hicks, they urge you to contact law enforcement immediately and not to approach.

Oh dear... this is not good. Making me think of that case out of Ohio a couple years ago where the Marshals got involved.

Armed and potentially dangerous and "camping" (eg hiding out) don't make me think that Lynch was trying to help this girl.

This is bad. If he was going to take her to "Spite" the ex girlfriend or get back at her for something, I don't see " The Woods, camping gear etc" being involved. If he had some "relationship, in his OWN mind" then it's a whole different story. IMO. Praying for her safety.

Let's hope so!
I think if his intentions were good, he would bring her to an aunt, his sister, somewhere she could be safe while contacting authorities to explain why she needed to get out.

I do not feel it is a likely scenario here nor do I think the FBI and local LE would be continuing to publish his picture and car and indicating he may be armed.

She needs to be found, and found quickly.
