Good pick @ivonne. The TV news report posted in her thread (in which her ID is confirmed) is very touching. Family gave their DNA in 2016.

TX - TX - Patricia Thomas-Wardell, 18, Houston, 17 July 1970

Article posted in Patricia's thread:

Daughter finds missing Houston mom after more than 50 years
Turns out, that after Patricia went missing in 1970, her skeletal remains were found in the woods near CE King Parkway in January 1971.

Rest in peace, Patricia. :( My condolences go out to her loved ones.

Huge discrepancy between Patricia’s reported height, 5’10”, and the estimated height of her remains. I wonder if this inaccuracy hindered them making a match. She was found not far from where she was last seen.

What in incredible story of a family that never gave up on finding their mother. And all this time she was buried in an unmarked grave on the cemeteray not far away from where she dissapeared. I'm glad the family got someclosure and hopefully their can get closer to her killer, if he's still alive at this point.
