The same lorry was caught on video with a 'C Hughes' truck near an English post earlier this month

A green lorry believed to be associated with a man wanted for questioning over the manslaughter and trafficking of 39 immigrants, was stopped and searched in Lisburn on Thursday.

It is understood the truck, carrying the logo of 'R Hughes', may be owned by convicted smuggler Ronan Hughes.
The cab, which was carrying a white container on the back, had Monaghan number plates.

The distinctive liveried green lorry with black bull bars is also thought to be the same one that appeared to be followed by VOSA, Vehicle and Operator Services Agency in early October.

A man who shared the footage after it was uploaded to HGV social media sites a few weeks ago said he believes it was captured near Immingham Docks on England's East Coast near Grimsby.

The lorry in the video also carries Monaghan number plates.

The video shows two lorries, one with R Hughes logo, the other with a C Hughes logo taking left at a roundabout as a VOSA car flashes its lights.

A green and white cab bearing the name 'R Hughes' and Monaghan plates was being closely followed by a red and white Scania with European number plates and the name 'C Hughes' emblazoned across the front.

Both trucks pull off at the junction while VOSA circle the roundabout again and then appear to follow.

So .. no further information since then?

re the questions:

Where is the logging data kept? for how long? Who has access?

And in this particular case ... where was the trailer in the timeframe of interest?
