THE potential whereabouts of Sharon Edwards’ mobile phone the day after she was last seen alive was yesterday discussed at length in the Supreme Court murder trial of John Wallace Edwards.

Phone records were examined in detail with an expert indicating her phone was detected moving in a northerly direction from the Grafton area in the early hours of the morning after her disappearance. Mr Edwards has pleaded not guilty to the charge of murder and the trial continues before Justice Robert Hulme.

Took me awhile to take PressReader seriously. But they have the whole story there though I wonder for how much longer, next thing might be just a snippet til you pay.

Over the last few weeks it's starting to look like newspapers want to keep the public ignorant.
They say it only costs so many dollars to subscribe but add that to all the other things that only costs so many dollars and it really ads up.
There used to be ways of looking at articles but those seem to be disappearing fast.

A MEDICAL expert has told the NSW Supreme Court that hand injuries sustained by John Wallace Edwards at the time of his estranged wife’s disappearance are consistent with that of a boxer.
The Crown asked Dr Lawson if there was any commonality with the ‘boxer’s fracture’ and the laceration on the back of his hand.

“Commonly we see, what the colloquial term for is a ‘fight bite’, when someone is punched in the face there can be a laceration to skin over the head of metacarpal caused by the tooth of the person who is being punched. It is common to have a laceration in conjunction with a boxer’s fracture.”

The trial continues before Justice Robert Hulme.

John edwards looks like a drunk.
Without going back and finding the link that in 2003 he had an affair, they broke up then got together again.
Did she forgive?
Realising he’d lost Sharon and he hated and wanted to hurt her lover so much that he killed Sharon so nobody would have her. The way he said he’d paid for that property with every red cent as if Sharon didn’t contribute after all those years of working.

He sounds and looks like an arrogant drunk.
 
Several neighbours living in Riverdale Crt were called to give evidence. The court heard

No-one giving evidence heard anything out of the ordinary at the Edwards’ home on the night Mrs Edwards’ disappeared.

Engineer Jamie Ruprecht has worked with Clarence Valley Council and NSW National Parks and Wildlife on a project in Everlasting Swamp National Park, west of Lawrence, for several years. In giving evidence, Mr Ruprecht detailed the waterways around Lawrence. He said the water at Sportsmans Creek was difficult to see in, often with around 50cm visibility.
He said there had been several major floods in Everlasting Swamp National Park around the time Mrs Edwards disappeared, one in early March 2015 and one in May. The court heard the area was “completely inundated” with flood waters.

The cops encourage these press conferences because it shows the murderer under pressure.
There was a missing girl’s parents and her boyfriend and the cops needed to watch the boyfriend closely and the parents knowing he killed their daughter were asked to be with him throughout. The mum said it was the hardest thing she’d ever done is to sit and hold the hand that murdered her daughter.

"Mr Farrell said a week after Mrs Edwards went missing he ran into the accused, who disclosed to him that he and Mrs Edwards had "a barney, a big one" the Saturday night she was last seen alive.
Several weeks later, Mr Farrell told the court he asked the accused what he thought happened to his wife. "He said he believed she was dead - he didn't say he knew, he said he was sure," he said.
"He told me he believed Sharon hired someone to kill him and that it had backfired and she had been killed instead."

JE is another imaginative liar with a self inflated ego, reminiscent of Baden-Clay and Ristevski. I'm pretty confident JE will be found guilty, I just hope he isn't given a deal for a lesser sentence if he reveals where he hid the body.
 
THE jury has begun deliberations into the alleged murder of Grafton school teacher Sharon Edwards.
As the Coffs Harbour Supreme Court trial of John Wallace Edwards, who stands accused of murdering his estranged wife, draws to a close, Justice Robert Hulme has given his final directions to the jury.

Justice Hulme told the jury if they found the Crown had not proved the element of intent of murder or serious harm but had proved Mr Edwards’ deliberate actions caused the death of Mrs Edwards, he could be found guilty of manslaughter and not guilty of murder.
