I was away from the forum for one day and now I’m 93 pages behind. Before I go back and read, would someone be willing to give me a quick run down on what happened yesterday and today? I did see where two separate witnesses unknowingly helped clean up the burn area.

Thank you kindly.

Right, I remember—thanks. I meant the atmosphere there was a loving one—to her—especially if the plan was for PF to come over. I mean you can but flowers and champagne for yourself only, but I get the impression she felt they still had a thing going on. Who knows...! Oh poinsetia...well ok guess that’s not romantic lol
Oh, I definitely think she was expecting to spend the day together as a couple and that's why she bought those things as well as the ingredients for the bread pudding and sweet potato casserole. Not to mention the stomach meds in the wee hours of the morning, etc.

It's heartbreaking to know the lengths she was going to in an effort to please him.

He's a sick, evil coward and the State of Colorado is going to put him where he belongs; in a cage. FOREVER. MOO

This has nothing to do with being admissible in court. It has to do with vetting a cooperating witness’ alibi.

This is standard practice in cases like this, as you want to make sure you’re being told the truth before you agree to a deal.

When you consider that Lie Detectors measure anxiety, it makes sense that LE uses them on witnesses so key to their investigations.

A witness who believes the technician can read her mind is more likely to spill the beans.

The FBI even uses them on people applying for jobs.

I would be shocked if KK didn't get one the first day she and her lawyer met with LE.

But they don’t have a body. There may not be a body to find, but what if there is one? And what if the Berreths ask for it and are willing for a slightly reduced sentence in exchange? If I had the chance to maybe recover my loved one’s remains in such a deal, I’d at least think about it.
If her body was in that burned tote, there might not be much to recover.
The Berreths may not want to offer him any deals. The baby is their number one priority now so they need to give PF the harshest verdict possible. The final custody hearing will be based upon the outcome of this trial. I don't foresee any special deals coming his way.

Nor does it matter. Her entire trip from Idaho to Colorado was tracked, and the car KK borrowed is caught on camera at atleast two locations (Conoco, and Sonic).

No way can the defense refute that, and I don’t expect them to try. They are going to shift the timeline to the right, as there is no other option.

That alibi is rock solid.

IIRC, wasn't the car transfer in Idaho on tape? Or not?

Gotten online? To buy one on Amazon? I find it hard to believe that lie detectors are very rare in CO to the point where major CBI regional offices do not have them and agents trained to use them. Moreover, I imagine it is often made as part of the deal to pass a lie detector not so it can be presented in court but so officials have a greater confidence they are not wasting their time in a complex, important and expensive case. MOO
The CBI offices are in Lakewood, Grand Junction and Pueblo. There are staff imbeds in the Durango and Boulder police departments, and an unnamed staff located in Northern Colorado.
KK turned herself in in Colorado Springs.

I said lie detectors aren't very common in Colorado. Are you saying they should have gotten online out on Thursday Monday December 17, 2018 when she agreed to confess and purchased a lie detector, so it would arrive in time to be ready when the lady arrived in Colorado Springs with her legal escort on Thursday? Just asking.

Pueblo is quite close. Moreover, I believe lie detector machines are quite portable. Have machine = will travel. Plus, there is always the FBI. I am sure trained CBI and FBI staff travel in their cars often these days to local police stations. These are modern times, indeed.

I just had another sad thought (like we need more). You guys think she bought that Poinsettia to gift Ol' Ma when she went for dinner. sigh.
It would make sense, as she also planned to make a sweet potato casserole.

The compelling counterpoint to that, is Kelsey made no reference of dinner plans at the Franch when she talked with her mother on Thanksgiving day.

According to SF2’s testimony (reading between the lines), it doesn’t appear that Kelsey was expected for dinner at the Franch.

Kelsey Berreth Murder: Krystal Lee Father Testifies In Patrick Frazee Trial
Sydney Kenney said his daughter was at her home in Idaho for a family dinner on Thanksgiving 2018 — the day prosecutors believe Berreth was murdered in her Woodland Park home in Colorado.

Sydney Kenney was asked if he was aware of his daughter’s relationship with Frazee.

He said he remembered Frazee from eight to 10 years ago, saying, “I told her I didn’t think that I liked him based on what she told me about him.”

We haven’t heard if it was caught on video or not. It would be nice if it was, but not a big deal if it wasn’t. We know it happened (the car was borrowed).

We have so much important and totally relevant evidence that some of this will seem like noise to the jurors.

I get to quote Bob Seger twice in one week:
"...what to leave in, what to leave out."

Moo...

KKs attorney would have provided a private lie detector test, prior to speaking with LE. Any negative results, KK would be encouraged to correct her answer.
Betting, she repeated the test until her attorneys were comfortable her testimony would pass.

Her deal depended on being truthful.

Moo...she has excellent legal representation. They got her a deal of a lifetime.

There can't possibly be a detailed ping report. KK has testified that she destroyed her burner phone on November 25th, and her personal phone on December 4th. Without the electronic data stored on the phone itself, any ping information is random gleanings searching specific calls or locations based on information provided to LE by KK. Comprehensive ping data is normally only saved by Verizon for a week. Most of the phone data presented in this case is taken directly from PF's phone(s). IMO
Didn't KK also destroy KB's cell phone? If it's only kept for a week, I'm wondering how LE got the ping information for KB's phone for Nov. 22 when the phones were "traveling together."

Reportedly, there were fresh flowers on KB's table and a Poinsettia that she purchased hours earlier at Safeway.

KB told CB she thought they might go out and get a Christmas tree in the next few days. We'll never know if the plant was for her home, or a gift. We do know that PF didn't take it home to SF.
