Johanna Young was 14 when she went missing from her family home in Watton, Norfolk, on 23 December 1992. She had left home at approximately 7:30pm, and was last seen in the town of Watton at 8:45pm.

Her body was found face down in a water filled claypit three days later on Saturday 26th December, she had suffered a fractured skull but her cause of death was drowning.

The police believe that Johanna may have received the fractured skull by accident in a fall, and drag marks in the lane and on her body suggested that she had been dragged by two people and placed in the pit.

What we found out about death of Norfolk schoolgirl 26 years ago

Interesting article written in 1993 for Options magazine - gives a good summary of the town and the speculation regarding Johanna's killer, Murder Among Children
“And a year later, more or less everyone in Watton knows the truth – about the lives that the children had been leading and about the person who killed Johanna Young. The police now think that they know exactly who did it – and how and why – and although they can’t prove it and although the rest of the world may still not understand, almost everyone in Watton now knows that the prime suspect for the murder is one of their own children.”

Following this after it was mentioned to me today.

Very few names available due to lack of media in 1992. And little to be found online.

anyone seen previously or have any MSM that links the raceway users to Johanna?
