CO CO - Kelsey Berreth, 29, Woodland Park, Teller County, 22 Nov 2018 - *Arrest* #66

ITA. The teeth--all 5 of them--should have been tested after they were seized. I think it is quite a coincidence that a single tooth seized in a search warrant BEFORE KK talked to LE, isn't tested yet one is magically "found"when LE went back to suddenly "find" the burn pit.

JMO
They were all tested.
Those other than the one found in the burn pit were obviously not relevant to the case.
See Sam's video tonight.

As I wrap up my night I just can’t get over the stupidity here. It’s one of the most incredible cases I’ve ever seen, and it ends with Patrick enlisting a fellow inmate to murder nearly every single witness in the case, and he does it all in WRITING!

The book about this case is gonna be a fun one, that’s for sure. Can’t wait to see his and Moms face when they sentence him to LWOP.

From start to finish he is one of the stupidest murderers I’ve seen. Patrick and Watts would probably be best friends

Also, I really hope Sam gets a raise for his coverage of this trial. He’s been fantastic.

When we first read the arrest affidavit back in February, it was clear to most of us that this guy was a special sort of stupid.

But never in my wildest dreams, did I imagine he was quite this dumb. Each day of trial brought a ridiculous revelation about what he had said or done.

But to close it out the way the prosecution was able to, was the icing on the cake, and the final nail in his coffin.

Basically, his coffin was frosted with nails, is what I’m trying to say.

BBM:

Who says the other teeth weren't tested, though?

I'm in fact quite confident that all 5 teeth were tested.

I've stated many times on this thread that unless the teeth that were in the envelope at the franch were linked to KB via testing, we would not hear anything about them at trial, because if they weren't KB's, then they aren't at all relevant to her murder.

The fact that the other teeth didn't come into evidence does NOT mean they were not tested.

It means they weren't KBs.

And the tooth fragment that was recovered from the fire wasn't "magically found."

It was only recovered because KK told LE about PF's burn at the franch, and then she led LE to the exact location where he burned the tote containing KB's body.

Finding a tooth fragment there is called "logical," not "magical," your ongoing, baseless insinuations that LE planted evidence, notwithstanding.

And when Slater was testifying about these letters the defense did not cross-examine Slater.

Pity Slater did not state, "I am on this list", to make it very clear to ALL immediately.o_O
In the Heather Elvis Case with Tammy Moorer's trial, it was wonderful to see, the female officer escorting Tammy out the door, when found Guilty, putting her Thumb in the air, for all to see.
Slater, I hope, will do the same here.
MOO.

I vote this post below by @MassGuy on March 16, 2019 the best premonition in the history of Websleuths!!

PF DID cast written votes against himself at trial. On jail paper towels.

Bravo @MassGuy, Bravo!

"MassGuy said:
Haaaa. It’s rare to have a case like this, where the killer’s very efforts to misdirect law enforcement, end up making their case for them.

The digital evidence is so extensive, that it cannot be explained away.

It’s quite impressive.

For his next trick, PF will manage to cast a vote against himself at trial."

Thank you, Stratescoop.:):):)
What a great find.
Definitely smarties here.

Right now, I am all indignant at the mere thought that SF called Kelsey a hooker.

How dare she. How freaking dare she.

Yet that son of hers, she just may be helping in some capacity while he's in a dog crate, where he belongs for life. Shame on her.
It displays SF's personality and way of thinking.
The apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

I pray that the judge lifts his strict rules since having the public watch Monday's proceedings can't affect the trial's outcome. Dare we hope for that to happen?

If it can't, I wish transcripts of the Closing Statements would be published.

To see the verdict returned (which I expect to also happen on Monday!) would be wonderful and much appreciated by all who have given their attention and prayers to Kelsey's quest for justice.

I can look it up but does someone have an address where we might send cards to DA May and his team?

Clint Berreth is on FB so I would think it appropriate to send notes of support and congratulations there.

It amazes me how PF is so downright stupid yet the one thing he managed to do was ensure that KB’s family would never have any part of their daughters body to bury.

He should have pled guilty imo and I think the only reason he didn’t was because he thought some miracle hit man was going to take down all the witnesses right up until the last minute.
I also believe he actually wanted to hear KK testify, he wanted to have the control over what she had to do. He wouldn’t admit anything so KK HAD to take the stand and face him or no plea deal for her. He controlled the situation in the only way he could by pleading not guilty and ensuring that there would have to be a trial because PF said so. KK is lucky to be alive and after hearing today’s revelations I can understand her seemingly getting off lightly because PF is a sociopathic narcissistic murderer and I get the feeling this wasn’t his first time.

There may have been a plan for a short defense about how this was all KK on her own, until those little paper towels came in. It’s impossible to defend PF after hearing evidence that he’s plotted to kill multiple witnesses so they couldn’t testify. I think the cherry on top is him actually writing all this down which stops this being a ‘he said she said’ argument.

PF really believes no body no murder and no witnesses no trial. Prove him wrong Jury.

They only found them to be human, female, no DNA correct?

Through dental records of a deceased woman having a recently violently missing molar prior to death and it was proven at autopsy it had been there at their last xray. A woman's tooth a "molar"missing at autopy"perhaps from a beating?.

Did you know each tooth is assigned a #?
Forensic testing may have rendered the the useless for DNA, but I believe a smart detective would have had that tooth x rayed, MRi, CT scanned and PET scanned as a well as a 3D or is it 4D replica made of it prior to any testing so they still have that woman's tooth! That would match dental records.
Umm... Hello?Dental tooth implants! (Tooth taxidermy basically)
"WELL exactly."
For Patients - The REPLICATE System
It may only be a replica, but if it belongs to any woman Patrick had been involved with who is no longer with us... you can bet the farm, that they are pulling autopsy reports as we speak.
Thia ain't over yit.
Yee- Haw

Yes, I know more then the average person does about dental work, teeth, And numbers assigned to each tooth....I am talking about the teeth found in his mother’s house....I am wondering like many others about the teeth found in his mother’s house.....were they kids teeth, his teeth, or as some people have mentioned possible trophies? I am not questioning the tooth found and degraded by KK in KB house, not the partial tooth found in the burned area.

Nurses I know have great manners

I have noticed lately, the snippiness comes out at night and people just love to make comments and disagree just to do it. WS members are usually pretty nice and decent. I will move on.

BBM:

I think not only can LE do something, they almost certainly will do something about this.

One of the people PF solicited the jailhouse snitch to "take care of" was a LEO.
That's a HUGE no-no.

With the thinly veiled, and by thinly veiled, I mean completely transparent, references to SF in those letters, I would not at all be surprised to see her arrested at some point in the near future.

JMO.
That^^ is what I have been thinking too.

But tonight I was wondering something different....What if SF2 made a deal with the DA....and traded his solid testimony against his brother, in exchange for them leaving his Mom out of this?

Nope. They cross-examined him but didn't even bother with Slater. Would have been a futile effort, lol.

The Prosecution rested, then the Defense rested without calling a single witness. :):):)

I googled and found zero hits for the word "shreds" btw. MOO

The man kept notes he says Frazee wrote to him. Slater identified the handwriting as Frazee’s. Frazee talks about “just kidnap them until Nov. 22” and that there’s open space near Kenney’s home. “She could just disappear before trial,” he says. @KOAA #KelseyBerreth

Another note from Frazee says he’s not a criminal but “this planning and talking gets my blood flowing”. In exchange, the man says Frazee helped him bond out of jail. Frazee’s notes said they could “do a lot of **** together”. @KOAA #KelseyBerreth #PatrickFrazee

That note was apparently in reference to longtime #PatrickFrazee friend Joseph Moore, a CBI investigator said. Moore was mentioned several times in the notes, and he testified earlier in this trial about Frazee repeating the phrase "no body, no crime." @csgazette #KelseyBerreth

In notes, #PatrickFrazee claims innocence in #KelseyBerreth's death:
"I'm not the monster they say I am. I don't know what happened or where she went. Honestly, my wheels are spinning out of control the closer it gets to trial. Any advice how to defend my innocence?" @csgazette

The notes show Frazee giving information on where Kenney, Chad Lee and Joseph Moore all live. He also provides suggestions for getting rid of them. He says Kenney would be close to her kids. @KOAA #KelseyBerreth #PatrickFrazee #KrystalKenney

In next letter, after claiming innocence, #PatrickFrazee appears to write to his fellow inmate: "Do you have funds or resources to go to Idaho and back? Was thinking if you could cap them in the desert and head home, Krystal Lee and Michelle, the bff?" @csgazette #KelseyBerreth

On cross, Adam Stiegerwald points out this man only comes forward as the trial is underway & that me just met with the DA’s office on Monday. He notes the man wanted to sell the notes on eBay, citing Frazee’s fame. He also sought a plea deal @KOAA #KelseyBerreth #PatrickFrazee

He did not get a plea deal for multiple charges in different counties. Instead, the DA’s office said they would help to get the cases resolved in one county. @KOAA #KelseyBerreth #PatrickFrazee #KrystalKenney

Another apparent #PatrickFrazee letter to fellow inmate:
"Honestly, we should stay off the phones. Maybe ... could send me a letter form an anonymous address? Stay off the radar. I'm hopeful and excited if you/we could pull this off." @csgazette #KelseyBerreth

Apparent #PatrickFrazee jailhouse letter continued:
"Only thing better would be if Krystal sent someone a "text" from her home confessing and telling the truth that I didn't have anything to do at all."
Appears to reference Krystal Lee, his mistress. @csgazette #KelseyBerreth

The evidence was admitted on the sole basis of establishing Frazee’s consciousness of guilt. It was a turn I did not see coming. @KOAA #KelseyBerreth #PatrickFrazee #KrystalKenney

Other letters from #PatrickFrazee to an inmate discussed concerns that Frazee had that other people would find out about his alleged request to make witnesses disappear ahead of his upcoming trial: "All this ****'s just between us???" one asked. @csgazette #KelseyBerreth

Most of the letters are written on paper towels from the restroom. Another letter allegedly from #PatrickFrazee says: "They all need to disappear unseen until at the least Nov. 22 after trial ..... my life and my little girl's life depends on you!" #kelseyberreth @DenverChannel

All of the letters, according to lead investigator Gregg Slater, appear to match #PatrickFrazee's handwriting. Also worth noting: we are not naming former inmate, prosecutors asked us not to because he fears retaliation from prison gang. #kelseyberreth @DenverChannel.

Bentley testified he didn't receive a plea deal in other cases he's facing to testify. Only a promise from the DA's office that those cases would be combined.

But, Steigerwald asked Bentley, prosecutors didn't just make that one promise, right? Did prosecutors also agree to ask members of the media not to name you in their reports, due to prison gang ties? Yes, Bentley replied.

This was probably the most graphic of the notes (warning). It read: “I would really like to see Krystal with a bullet in her head. Piss and **** on her face. *advertiser censored***ng dirty c**t *advertiser censored** *advertiser censored*.” #KelseyBerreth #PatrickFrazee #KrystalKenney

Still on cross by defense, Bentley said he originally came forward with the #PatrickFrazee notes, because he wanted a plea deal in his pending legal case. He admitted telling an investigator that the letters were his "ticket."

Also, on cross examination by Steigerwald, Bentley said he had previously been facing a felony burglary charge that would have netted him up to 30 years in prison. That charge, which is still pending, was recently dropped to misdemeanor. @csgazette #KelseyBerreth #PatrickFrazee

Defense points out former inmate is a convicted felon who asked DA to help him deal w/ multiple pending cases in one county. They claim he saw the letters as his ticket out, but inmate didn't totally agree with that statement. #PatrickFrazee #kelseyberreth @DenverChannel

No shredding....
Lots of awe, it seems to me.

OMG lol. Nope, no one, no one at all, would be able to connect the dots if everyone on that list went "missing."

It’s absurd. And there’s also this ridiculously goofy aspect to him trying to act like he could be a big gangster. I mean we know he’s a psychopath but while it’s easy for him to beat to death a blindfolded, defenseless and unsuspecting woman it’s not as easy running with rough street criminals and keeping up with them.

But the words he uses and the way he thinks he can appeal to them is embarrassingly silly. I can’t explain the way I would like to.

And then he thinks, like a toddler, if he closes his eyes he can make it all go away? “Well, bud, I guess all the witnesses against you mysteriously died or disappeared so you’re free. Oh and also, here’s your daughter back.”
