I continue to believe this was a misinterpretation or a miscommunication.

I just don't believe that DA May would be less aware of the sentencing date for KK than a court clerk.

Unless you hear it from the horse's mouth, it ain't gospel.
And the court clerk ain't the horse.

Dan May said he wasn't sure whether she'd be sentenced today or not, which leaves the door open.
If Dan says KK might get sentenced today, she may very well be sentenced today.

JMO.

Yep. I don't see why they would waste time setting another hearing when they've got her there before the court. Put her away, I say. And, for as long as possible! MOO

I don't know what else can be accomplished at this hearing other than going over the agreement and asking the prosecution as to how well they thought she (KK) cooperated. Maybe ask the prosecution as to a suggested penalty.

The hearing lasted all of seven minutes. Judge Scott Sells ordered a PSI — something related to probation. Kenney will report there today for interrogation. Her sentencing is set for Jan. 28 at 9 a.m.

She's actually going to try to introduce mitigating factors at sentencing!

There are going to be people called to talk about what a wonderful person, friend, mother, nurse, etc., KK is, along w/ apparently some video "proving" the same.

Utterly galling.

It's also incredibly stupid to try this move in front of the judge who heard exactly what type of person she really is, and from her own mouth.

On the upside, all this expensive legal maneuvering keeps the meter running for whoever's paying for KK's defense.

With any luck, whoever's paying for Nielsen's services will be on a ramen diet by the time all's said and done.

Frazee’s former mistress, Krystal Lee, pleaded guilty earlier this year to evidence tampering. Her sentencing date was set at a brief hearing Monday morning in Cripple Creek. Lee was present.

Lee will be sentenced Jan. 28. Prosecutors say she faces up to three years for evidence tampering, but is also eligible for probation.
