Reading about Dr Phil interview with Dulce's mom while citing a problem with undocumented residents/witnesses afraid talk.

Is there an undocumented population problem in this area where VM went missing that may also be afraid to come forward with information?
It appears that Vanessa is half hispanic, she is a Morales. I don't know about undocumented residents in CT or in that specific area, but unlike Dulce's case, I don't think that is a big factor here.

Following quietly and just have to wonder what mom did (at least perceived by the monster that hurt her) to make someone SO angry, she was brutally beaten to death. Crime of passion? Drug debt?

Just speculating of course. I sure hope that baby is being taken care of somewhere but if she was disappeared by the same person that hurt mama, it's highly unlikely she's okay.
:(

Hmm no time given in the article for when to expect the update, right?

It's a long enough distance to not want to drive back and forth if you're going to be back the next morning anyway (I speak from experience), especially if you have somewhere to crash.
Yes, in CT distances are deceptive as the traffic congestion is terrible during rush times. Even on back roads and with bad weather its no fun to drive from NH to the Valley in bumper to bumper traffic. New Haven is a very old city and the infrastructure getting into/out of the city isn't truly adequate for the traffic levels. I95 (Major N-S route going up/down Eastern Seaboard) runs through New Haven parallel to Long Island Sound. Route 8 is a connector that runs through the Valley Towns from New Haven to I84 and is subject to significant traffic issues as well, particularly during bad weather.

Here is a local traffic cam link: Live Traffic Map

Here is a google maps for a hypothetical drive from downtown NH to Ansonia during evening rush and it can take 45-hr with no problems or accidents.

There are pockets of such communities all over the tri state area IMO but Ansonia is IMO a good bit different from Bridgton, NJ in its population makeup. New Haven though is a larger city and has all the issues that go with that and has substantial drug and violence issues.

Here is a basic stat sheet on violent crime in CT from wiki:

In 2010 there were 78,386 property crimes, 10,057 violent crimes, 130 murders, and 583 rapes reported in Connecticut.[1] Five years later, in 2015 violent crimes dramatically decreased to 8,123, a drop of nearly 2,000. The violent crime rate in the state was 227 per 100,000 residents, compared to the U.S. rate of 397 per 100,000 nationwide.[2] Connecticut released its most recent Uniform Crime Report in 2016. According to this report, there were 8,148 violent crimes committed that year. Of those, there were 77 homicides, 777 rapes, 2,709 robberies and 5,585 aggravated assaults.[3]

According to a 2014 FBI Uniform Crime Report, the Connecticut cities with the most violent crimes were Bridgeport (1,338), New Haven (1,380) and Hartford (1,380). These cities also had the most incidents of murder: Bridgeport with 11, Hartfordwith 19 and New Haven with 12.

Well, time for them to spit out this new information, if the public can be of any assistance.

I'm wondering if they have evidence that she may be deceased, hence why they're not letting this information out just yet.

Who could possibly have this baby ? And not speak up! Has to be someone connected to mom or dad’s family ... doesn’t it? MOO

It would have to be someone who is willing to take a lot of flack for hiding the baby, a potential prison sentence ... and who is also willing to put both families through a lot of heartache. Who would do that for JM?

Statewide Domestic Violence Hotline Launches Amidst Recent Acts of Violence

Christine Holloway, Janet Avalo-Alvarez and Sterling and Della Jette are tragic examples of recent acts of violence against women and families. The trend is all too common in the state of Connecticut and around the country.

[...]

The Connecticut Coalition Against Domestic Violence says that there are 40,000 victims of domestic violence in Connecticut seeking help each year.

Those staggering statistics led to the launch CT Safe Connect in Glastonbury. The statewide domestic violence hotline offers safe, free and confidential services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
