Christine was a great mother, daughter, and sister. She always took care of her nephew Dominic and they both enjoyed spending their quality time together. Christine also enjoyed doing puzzles with her niece Serena when she would stop over her mother's house after work. The family would like to thank both Christine's job, "Bright Morning Star Child Care", as well as all the Bridgeport Public Schools for all the love and support. The family would also like to express their gratitude to the community, friends, and family members near and far that have contributed their love and support for all of Christine's family during this difficult time.

Ugh, my heart... "Christine is survived by her daughter Vanessa Morales of Ansonia."

Also, date of death is listed as 12/2.

Bloody material or clothing recovered connected to Holloway’s death originated in a clothes-donation bin across from 112 Derby Ave. Police searched the area Dec. 6. Derby police put out a message last week asking for anyone with home security footage from Division Street to Route 34 on the Orange town line call authorities at 203 503 5555.

Editor’s note: DO NOT ENCOURAGE THE CHILD TO BE DROPPED OFF AT A RANDOM HOME.

“We are asking all the people who have shared the red light message to please add to their message that Vanessa should be brought to a local hospital, fire department, or police department,” Ansonia Police Lt. Patrick Lynch said in a statement Sunday.

So it WAS bloody clothing.

"Ansonia police also served a search and seizure warrant on the father’s “person,” according to the arrest document. No information on that has been released."

They clearly immediately thought he did it if they were checking his person for defense injuries.

There are so many safe places to drop off a child. Why encourage a drop off at a random place with a red porch light? I have had neighbors who turned on their red porch light to signal they were open for business. And their business was not legal.

My thinking would be , if the bloody clothing was dropped in the bin, then the murderer would have had other clothing readily available to change into.
AND within a short distance from the crime. IMO

Special parole is essentially a very strict version of parole that he was likely sentenced on to previous convictions. While regular parole is what allows you to get out of prison early for example, special parole is part of the initial sentence when you are convicted. So, for example, you may get sentenced to 5 years in prison + 2 years of special parole, if that makes sense.

is it anything like "high risk" parole? in CA if you are convicted of certain charges or say, have a gang enhancement on your charge, you are assigned "high risk" parole where you are not even permitted to drink alcohol and you have curfew restrictions and an ankle monitor. whereas if you are on regular parole, there is no monitor, you can drink alcohol if over 21 an not driving etc, and you dnt have to be in your house by 8 pm.

Can someone tell me what it means when they use the term “Domestic Homicide” as in the above quote? How is it different from a plan old homicide? Because it’s in a house? That term got me thinking a bit here.....moo of course.

it is generally perpetrated by a member of your family. IE spouse, parent to child, adult or teen child to parent, etc...

It doesn’t sound like a very smart perp. Did he mistake the donation bin for a dumpster? Did he not realize those donation bins are collected and sorted?

How long will it take for the blood to be tested to see who it belongs to? Praying none of it is Vanessa’s. If it’s the perp’s clothes they should be able to collect his DNA. Maybe even if it’s towels or other items from Christines home.

stepped up police presence on Myrtle Avenue outside Christine Holloway and Vanessa Morales’ home. Earlier today there was just single squad car outside, now several unmarked cars. Holloway was found murdered in the home a week ago & her daughter gone.

A K9 was also just brought into the house as police continue to probe Christine Holloway’s murder and search for her 1-year-old daughter Vanessa Morales.

Huh, weird. Why the extra activity now? I hate to be morbid, but I hope poor Vanessa wasn't at home in some capacity the entire time...
