*This has been a case near to me as this showed up on a thread and the family not knowing how to get the word out. Circumstances are alarming to say the least. In a nutshell Diamond was last seen between Nov.2 ~ Nov. 9, her vehicle was found parked at Wells Fargo bank at the above address. It inexplicably sat there over a month. She was reported missing 3 weeks after her disappearance. I am in contact with her biological sister and will try to get her on to be verified. There is alot to this case and welcome any questions or opinions. Telemundo provided a news story on her which allowed this post.

Family gives update on missing Diamond Martinez, 27, out of Glendale (video)

[...]

A week ago, the Glendale Police Department came forward with news of her green Volkswagen being found.

Her sister, [NS], went to take a look and came across something disturbing. "There were items shoved under the seat which concerned me and it was like her favorite pair of pants," she said.

"I mean every girl has their favorite pair of pants, these are her's and they were shoved under the seat and they had smeared blood on the front of her pants and that's when my red flags went up," she went on to explain.

If she was on foot when last seen, where was her vehicle suppose to have been? Home? At a job? A friends? At the Wells Fargo where it was found?

And if she was wearing purple leggings the last time she was seen, where do the favorite pants come in? Were they in her car? Were they at home? And the blood on the pants, has it been tested to prove it is hers or is it someone else’s.

Where was the seat sitting in her car, at her height or one closer or further away showing someone other than Diamond was driving her car?

Does anyone in her family or her friends know what she was doing in Litchfield when she is from Glendale?

Good Gravy, a month. Someone has a big head start on LE and us.

I guess I have a lot of questions.

All great questions, with answers.. however I am trying to get the sister verified but she is not only fielding tips but doing the media blitz now that the case is being picked up, and yes the head start is very problematic.

Banks have cameras usually, maybe since her car was there for a month before it was found the footage was lost?
No boyfriend or her daughter's Dad in the picture? Not much information to go on yet. I see on her fb that she does real estate, was she doing that on the day she went missing? Moo.

The video had some interesting info about the vehicle.

Adding transcription of her sister speaking (starting at about 1:35):

When I approached the vehicle, there was a note on the seat. It was dated on November the 2nd and it said please do not tow, be right back. But it looks like the vehicle was scuffled through, the window was down, which she takes very good care of herself and her things. Her makeup is everywhere all over the vehicle.

Sounds like there was a struggle of some sort.

91st and glendale is not that far away from Litchfield park. Depending on what street I'd guess maybe a 15 minute drive if not taking any freeways? But I'd like to know too.. do her friends/ family live near by? If she was last seen in that area on foot maybe she was shopping.. hm.

I'm personally surprised that I havent seen or heard about this AT ALL and it's local.

The intersection in Glendale is a busy one in general. It's also right next to the casino (desert diamond). Wonder if that has any relation to her car being parked at the bank. Just thinking out loud.

Also how on earth does a car stay THAT LONG without being towed or something? Seriously .. and the date on the note bugs me for some reason.

Image 4 in the screenshots appears to show the visor is flipped down I think? Which is super common during the day especially as the sun is going down. Or maybe it was flipped down because she was doing her makeup (since the makeup was found all over the car) in the mirror?

Also local and have not heard about this AT ALL.

No report of where her car was found either that I can find. Was it found where it was photographed? November 2 is a long time ago missing-persons-wise. She was pursuing modeling... left a duaghter behind... Bumping for her and her family. Need more eyes here on THIS one.

Phoenix and Glendale police departments have handed off the investigation to the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office. Officials say they don't have any updates at this time.

Being moved to the sheriff's office ...
I am wondering if that's an indication of something more serious going on, as the sheriff office gets involved usually when there is a homicide, drug bust, etc.

Or rather just along the lines of the fact that the locations involved fall under multiple jurisdictions.

I hope it's the latter just for the sake of fluidity within the investigation. And for Diamonds sake. As I've mentioned in another local still missing case, the boundaries of glendale/Phoenix/Litchfield park are quite blurry.

I have not heard of this case at all here. I don't live that far from where her car was found. I would be interested in knowing if that note was written in Diamond's handwriting or not.
I have found that they do not tow cars much here in AZ. In MN if you are parked somewhere you should not be for a day your car is towed. My place of employment here in AZ.... we have had cars parked in our parking lot for months. One car sat here for a year. The building management is funny about towing cars out of the lots. A retired PHX cop had told me that if you tow a car you shouldn't have then you can be criminally charged with burglary or something like that ( I had always thought burglary was of a home). I am sure that has something to do with some of it.

In most state - if the vehicle is parked in a publicly owned or controlled parking facility, it can be towed immediately. This applies mostly to parking garages, public parks/facilities, when the driver leaves the car and goes somewhere other than where the lot is designated for. Here, only a law enforcement official or public official has the authority to order the impoundment.

I was in banking for decades. It is very unusual for the branch manager to not have the car removed after 24 hours. And banks usually only have outside cameras point at all doors the atms and the drive through area. Hopefully that's enough to piece together someone walking by that can be connected to where the car is parked.

I am on my phone so I apologize for my bad grammar and lack of commas.

What is odd is I was in Litchfield during that timeframe for a wedding. We drove by that Casino several times.

That's what bugged me. I wonder if the spot was maybe out of the boundary of the bank lot..or maybe nobody paid attention enough . Moo.

Ps hi "neighbor "

I hope this isnt a trafficking thing
