You can't self medicate with fertility drugs. They have to be prescribed by a doctor and you are closely monitored - bloodwork and ultrasounds. Unless she worked in a fertility specialist's office and was stealing drugs, I doubt this is what was happening.

You can find info on what to take and get most any substance online, and of course being slightly off she took the DIY method. Of course I could be completely wrong. But hormones work a number on minds and bodies. She went from being a pretty woman to being a fat, short balding man with a comb-over. Something happened biologically, a disease maybe.

If I bought something, I would buy neutral or even blue, always figured you could put blue on a baby girl, but not pink on a baby boy lol Maybe MF told everyone she wasn't finding out the gender?

Well, maybe she was out scouting for a baby every day, not concerned with the gender. You know, shopping malls, gas stations, etc. she had reached the end of a normal pregnancy and needed a baby pronto. Originally, maybe her plan was to nab a baby from someone else, idk. how frightening to think of her waltzing around the maternity ward when Heidi gave birth. Every baby there was a target, imo. I wonder if any family or friends did see Margo during the time MF had her hostage.

believe there are some states that have mentally ill but 'it is not a defense to what you did." do not know TX law on this. there is a lot we do not know about MF- how she interacted with CG, everything she might have said to other people. maybe she was convincing- her atty said that he thought she was pregnant, of course he only saw her sporadically, and would not have been patting her stomach. suspect that she had to be somewhat isolated to maintain her role, but really not sure how delusional she was, IMO.

Good point, just odd if she had sights on HB baby girl, why ask for boy things? Im assuming HB knew her baby's sex before birth and thus MF knew too being 'close' friends and talking all the time. Hard to pass off a baby boy as a baby girl and vice versa to a desired baby daddy and family.

But often in cases, the suspects think more about today than tomorrow, so her original thought was just 'im going to have to divert suspicion so will say Im having a boy' so no one suspects the baby I have is HB's girl. I did hear on the Jay is 4 Justice podcast that when they viewed the Target baby registry, the create date of it was Dec 1 with a due date of Dec 1 as well.

I don't see anything on the Target registry that shows a registry creation date. I think Dec 1 was put as the due date and it possibly confused others who then reported it as fact.

I think it’s plausible. Some people don’t like having their pregnant belly touched by others— I was one of them! Maybe my husband a few times and my mom a few times but that was it for others except for medical appointments. I don’t ask to touch my friends bellies either.

She was certainly under the gun to produce a baby, with the December 1st due date.

I wonder if she planned to do this earlier, but was thwarted by Heidi’s mom staying with her.

And perhaps that’s why MF helped Heidi at home after baby came home. Maybe she was hoping the mom wouldn’t stay as long if Heidi had another “helper”.

In hindsight, the fact that this happened on the very first day Heidi was on her own to take SC² to school with baby in tow... shows the perp likely had insider knowledge. I think the timing gave many of us the feeling it was the boyfriend’s first opportunity, or someone was “watching” her. But in reality, it was someone else who would know A LOT about her routines...her “best friend” and “helper.” Sickening.

I've done ivf and have friends who have. In many of the online infertility communities you can find people offering leftover meds free or at a steep discount. Many consider it a community service to those still in the trenches. If she was involved in those communities she could easily have obtained thousands of dollars of prescribed meds for free

I think she really didn’t want a baby as much as she needed one to preserve her living situation. Just coming off a felony charge for theft, she would have a hard time finding a decent job, imo.
Maybe she experienced some events causing her life and mental health to spiral out of control. Idk

I like your point, I think it might end up being primarily driven by keeping her relationship with the man she lived with. He lived in a relatively nice home is a nice area. I don’t know MF’s educational attainment but as far as employment there are so far no reports of her having a job since the check cashing place one where she was fired in 2018 when charged with stealing. She was 33 <modsnip> maybe she felt like she had to keep that man bound to her by any way necessary

I think HB's identification would be kept inside her pocketbook and therefore I'm satisfied her pocketbook was also found inside the apartment and not in the car -- according to SC.

Heidi Broussard’s boyfriend, Shane Carey, who is Margot's father, said earlier this week that her car was at the apartment in Austin the day she disappeared, but she wasn't there.

He said all of Broussard's belongings, including her identification and the baby's diaper bag, were still in the apartment. bbm

Broussard's close friends told NBC News this week there is no chance she would have left of her own accord without her son.
