The UK have tried to conceal that they have missed to report at least 75,000 criminal convictions of foreign criminals to their home EU countries due to a computer error, as the UK feared for their reputation in the EU. And after Brexit the UK will no longer be a part of Europol after December 2020. Let's hope the computer error is fixed, and that the police in UK will be better to report foreign criminals to their home countries, and that this failure haven't caused too many crimes that would have been prevented if the home countries knew about crimes committed in the UK. I wonder how the UK authorities could have believe they would be able to keep such a thing secret. Revealed: UK concealed failure to alert EU over 75,000 criminal convictions

It was more than 112,000 criminal convictions the UK had not informed EU countries about since 2012 due to a computer failure, and a subsequent cover-up. Of these, 191 were killers or rapists.
The UK have known about this computer failure for at least six years, and have tried to cover it up, they didn't act upon it when they discovered it, because they were concerned about the "reputational impact" on Britain. Did they not think it would be found out at some point, and didn't they know that when their cover up was discovered it would cause a worse "reputational impact" than if it had been reported when first discovered?
UK failed to inform EU countries about almost 200 killers and rapists
