Deceased/Not Found UK - Nicola Payne, 18, Coventry, 14 Dec 1991

I noticed that. Looks like the youth is out of prison then.

Taking selfies counting wads of cash probably not the best idea. “But I was in another town, guv!”

Some new updates on the Find Nicola Payne Facebook page... they are filming a TV programme and making a podcast this month. It says new info and evidence will be revealed for the first time.

Find Nicola Payne

There is a also a dedicated tip off line and a £100k reward for info leading to the recovery of Nicola’s body, as well as new searches planned.

I hope it all helps them to find Nicola, although I personally feel that the only people who really know where she is are the blokes who did it.

Somebody knows more. I’m surprised the £100k hasn’t had more response, although the investigator probably is keeping his counsel for now....

I don’t think anyone knows... I think if the reward was a million pounds still nobody would come forward.

I think the only 2 people in the world who know are the people who killed her... and they have kept it to themselves ever since.

West mids police have just announced they are searching a section of the canal between Coventry and Rugby after receiving new info, fingers crossed.

Here is a Sky News report about the search in this case:

Nicola Payne: Police search canal for body of young mother missing since 1991

This is very interesting indeed. Anyone driving from the Wyken side of Coventry to get to Rugby (avoiding motorway) would likely (and logically) pass Harborough Magna (and Coombe). Perhaps the supposed culprits initially went to Coombe (where 2 men were apparently seen acting suspiciously by someone) to dispose of Nicola, then thought better of it and continued towards Rugby, via Newbold. Did they decide the canal near Harborough Magna was safer? Then drive on to Rugby after the deed was done? If so, perhaps an “alibi” of being in Rugby until late Saturday night was partly true.....
