Jubelin has(d) it in for PS for a long time now, the fact he came up with something most of us here wondered about (his wife accidentally hitting Wiliam as she left)
for some time, especially after inquest last year when PS was questioned makes me wonder.

But if this is GJ theory where does that leave Chapman and his apparent sighting of William in the car speeding around the corner in front of his house?

And all whilst GJ was pressuring Spedding and running him through the wringer Savage was also being interrogated like a suspect or his wife possible involvement at least.

I feel like there is still no clue what happened to poor little William.

I agree with Dr Slueth, PS is a Rat, he plays his cards to avoid detection or his true self.

I have always thought the lady in the caravan holds more information on Savage, be it an affair or further confirmation of his creepy behavior. AIMO

yes I agree. It worries me that GJ is suspicious of PS, yet Det Lara Beacroft doesn't think he is involved. That's two very far apart opinions.

time is of the essence in this case, given so many POI are older. I'm feeling very discouraged that WT families will never get any closure.

And I guess it just shows how the police force/detectives have fallen apart in this case and so much friction and more so why Jubes is where he is now. Because of the lack of agreement between colleagues. (and other reasons of course)

Not sure if anyone remembers an interview was done with one of the detectives some time back where he quoted they were sure who did it however they didnt have enough evidence to convict? It was an anonymous source in the investigation and it appeared in "press reader" for Womans Day. This all came about from memory around the whole Jubelin thing and SFR being divided and squabbling and then Jubelins exit.

Does anyone remembers this? I know its a trashy mag but I wonder if the annon source was Jubes?

Surely the police would have leaned harder on PS in the beginning if they thought William might have been run over, we all considered it early on.

Unless the police discovered in 1917 that Heather did not go to bingo that day. I just cant imagine a person running over neighbours child, presumably throwing him in the car, and carrying on to Bingo or racing in to tell your husband and leaving him to deal with it, and both carry on as though its a normal day.

I still think everything Jubelin has done re PS has been more of a fishing expedition to rule him out rather than in.
I think it is quite possible PS saw something, but unless Heather did run him over I dont see him as a killer.

Margaret Cunneen tells the court the defence plans to call two former commanders of the NSW Homicide Squad to testify, who supervised Jubelin during the investigation. Those two people can only be now Assistant Commisissioner Mick Willing and current Homicide boss Supt Scott Cook

Jubelin knocks on Savage’s door and accuses him of not helping with the investigation. Savage responds by saying “I’ve helped you in every way I can and you come here and accuse me of doing it... I have answered the questions to the best of my knowledge”

Gary Jubelin’s criminal hearing has resumed, with his barrister Margaret Cunneen raising some issues after being served more lengthy witness statements only last night from the prosecution. The statements were made in 2019 and 2018. @10NewsFirst

Savage tells Jubelin to talk to his solicitor, saying “I’m not talking anymore”. Jubelin tells him “I will find out what happened to William” shortly before leaving. The recording only lasts a few minutes.

It's a more combative conversation than the previous day. Mr Savage accuses Mr Jubelin of "putting *advertiser censored* on me". He says he's helped police all he can. He gives the details of his lawyer. "I've done everything I can and you know full bloody well I have," Mr Savage is heard saying

Mr Jubelin: "Paul this is fine because this makes it very, very interesting. I'm very interested." Later, Mr Savage says it's a "shame" because "I thought you were a decent bloke". Mr Jubelin replies: "Paul, I am a decent person and I will find out what happened to William."

I don't see Paul Savage being involved or having knowledge of William being hit by a car.

9.57 PS phoned Casino hospital. The call lasted almost 10mins.
10.05 - 10.15 William disappeared.
10.37 Heather left for Bingo
10.41 PS phoned an x-ray business to make an appointment

We know from the inquest once AMS knocked on the door PS then searched and became involved with neighbours and his BIL in searches. He became so involved he didn't go to Casino and even forgot to ring and tell his brother he wasn't coming. If this is the effect a missing child has on PS, I doubt he would have had the composure to ring the x-ray business to make an appointment after a little boy being hit by a car.

It was dt Laura Beaucraft who put the time of Williams going missing between 1005 and 1015 but FFC put it more near 1030.
I see your point though.

Heather leaving @ 10:37 or 10:38 is coming from PS. I never heard any evidence that anyone saw her leaving that morning at anytime, she would have been leaving the same time the FF was arriving home.

Yes, the time has always been around 10:30am, JUST before FD arrived back at Benaroon - until Beacroft took the stand at the inquest and told us of her own thoughts. Now even the 'last-photographs' evidence is not written in stone, hopefully we will hear the results of that soon. imo.
