'We are still committed to finding Leah Croucher' say police in Milton Keynes

''It is understood dozens of reports of 'sightings' of Leah are still coming in every month from all over the country – and sometimes from other countries.

But so far, after 349 agonising days, there has not been one sighting that could be her.

A Thames Valley Police spokesman told the MK Citizen: “We remain committed to finding Leah and we continue to investigate and explore every report received as well as support Leah’s family during this difficult time.”

It's good to see Leah is still being kept in the public eye.

Do YOU know who Leah Croucher's mystery date was in Milton Keynes this time last year?
Jan 31 2020 rbbm.
''Early in the investigation, police spoke to a man - who we can only identify as 'Mr X' - who Leah had told her parents about.

Officers say they have no suspicions about him.

But Leah's parents are convinced Leah was seeing someone in secret and they want to learn more about it. And they believe the February 3 hotel liaison could lead to vital clues about her disappearance less than two weeks later.

Leah spent the night of February 3 2019 at this Travelodge

''The MK Citizen is today appealing for people to rack their brains now and think back to what they were doing on that Saturday night, a year ago.

Did you see Leah when she was dropped off, at around 7pm? Did you see her shortly afterwards going into the Travelodge with a man? Or did you see her and the man having a romantic dinner in one of the nearby restaurants perhaps? Were they having a row perhaps?''

''If anybody knows anything about Leah and who she met on February 3, call police immediately on 101. If they don't want to give their name, they can call Crimestoppers on 0800 111 555. Calls are free and there is a reward of £5000.''

This information is only being highlighted after nearly a year?

Who is going to remember who they passed or saw a year ago?

In theory it will prompt more than appealing at 11 months or 13 months. Facebook for example does the 1 year ago item so that might jig peoples memories (who knows she might appear in someone’s photohop), people who were doing something memorable that night might well reminisce about it again at this point. Some of these people may not have heard about Leah until much later on and have distorted timings etc, a year later is quite a good prompt (even though you are right peoples memories may be a bit hazy)

It’s so awful to be fast approaching the anniversary of Leah’s disappearance without her having been found. Thinking of her and Haydon a lot this week and hoping that someone will provide the breakthrough that is needed.
I still think X and his mother need to provide more information.

Will Valentine's Day memories help finally find missing Leah Croucher from Milton Keynes?

'' We are urging people to look back on their phones or at their Facebook memories of their Valentine's celebrations in 2019 to see if they remember anything significant at all.''
Thanks for the link, just a thought, but could Leah have encountered any problems/relationships (not Mr X) with customers or whomever she dealt with at the FINANCE company she worked at?
Also wondering if Leah had a "type" of guy she was attracted to, ie. older, established, artistic, athletic, white, brown black, rocker, hippy, conservative, religious, punk, ect ect?
Just because L may have had something happening with X, does not mean there is not a Y or a Z
somewhere,imo, speculation.

''Thursday February 14, 2019, Valentine's Day

8am. Leah, 19, sets off for work as normal. She has an admin job with finance company DFC in Davy Avenue, Knowlhill and walks the two-mile journey to and from work every day, often going via Furzton Lake.

5.45pm. Leah walks home from work. Strangely, the location settings on her Samsung phone were switched off in the Furzton Lake area. Nobody knows why. It could be that she was downloading another app that disabled them. But the mobile phone company has confirmed Leah had never turned off her location settings before.

6pm. Leah arrives home from work. She changes into tracksuit bottoms and a long-sleeved top with the logo 'I solemnly swear that I am up to no good' (a quote from her favourite Harry Potter books) and leaves the house on foot. She tells her mum she is going to visit a friend.

7.15pm. Leah arrives home again. She doesn't fancy the meal her mum was cooking so she ordered herself a Chinese takeway. Her mum asks if her friend is okay and Leah replies with a yes.

Leah ate her meal and went to her room to watch a film. Her behaviour that night was totally normal, say her parents''

John threatens to reveal the identity of the man he suspects is witholding information regardless of whether the police want him to.

Man 'hiding information on missing Leah Croucher'
From link above: "She told her family she was meeting a friend that night but police said the meeting did not happen and have appealed for information on where she was between 18:00 and 19:15."

I'm not up on the case, but this seems massively significant? She lied about seeing the friend?

Also her phone with the disabled location settings; that seems very peculiar.

Ok let's hope this anniversary push will jog someone's memory. If John names this person publically, what repercussions could he suffer? I don't suppose he cares as he has lost a sin and daughter now so I would say why not? Hopefully police know which he is referring to.

Also this one square mile is interesting. Do police think she was abducted within that area or she is hidden in that area? Link wouldn't load for me.

I wish they would get that date clarified.

The msm report says they need info re Saturday February 3, 2019

But that Saturday was February 2 in 2019

so are they seeking info re the Saturday night or do they mean Sunday night, which was February 3

This is the reason why.

From today's MK CITIZEN: At exactly 8.34am,Leah's phone suddenly left the network. Nobody knows how or why, but investigations show the signal disconnection happened at the northern end of the route around Furzton Lake, close to the Premier Inn hotel.

S0 could Leah have met up with someone near to the Premier Inn that morning or had she been abducted before then and her phone turned off in a vehicle that was passing by the Premier Inn?
